GGastnutzerWe had a great 2 nights stay at this Ryokan. Location was near Yufuin Floral Village, and around 20 mins walk from Yufuin JR station. It was a nice walk to Yufuin JR station as there were many shops and eateries that you can visit along the way. Alternatively, there is also bus 36 from Yufuin but terminal that would stop near to the ryokan.
The staff were really outstanding, friendly and helpful. When we arrived, a couple of them rushed to help us with our luggage and to also shelter us from the rain. During the entire stay, they made us feel very welcomed.
The Western/Japanese room that we booked was very spacious and had all the amenities we required. Note that this is a 2 storey living area - level 1 had a bathroom with private indoor and outdoor onsen as well as the living room, while level 2 had a toilet (w/o bath) and 1 western bedroom as well as 1 Japanese bedroom.
There are 4 public onsen in the ryokan. 2 for female and 2 for male. They would rotate it during the day and night to allow everyone to try out the different onsen.
We also had our breakfast and dinner at the ryokan as part of the package. The dishes were different on both days. The spread was huge and food tasted great. Note that there are very few places open at Yufuin during dinner time.

SsmilinglilwenThis must be the biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in Japan. It is a traditional Ryokan with 3 Private Onsen available for reservation upon arrival. The scenery and ambience around the hotel were peaceful & very gorgeous. The mountain view from our room was fantastic. Besides, it took less than 10 mins walking distance to the famous Kinrik Lake! 😌🎐 Each guest could pick a 👘 for free too. The services was great and the staffs were attentive too.
We stored all our biggest luggages at Yufuin Station and only brought along light luggage because it is far away from station. Gentle reminder for the guest to book a taxi at least one day earlier before your departure. By the way, it was a lucky morning when it started to snow during our ryokan checked out! It made the Ryokan looked even more amazing! ❄️
The only regret was breakfast and dinner were both unavailable during reservation and there is no ryokan contact was available before arrival. It would be 100% if I were to taste the すきやき, Sukiyaki! 🥩🍲

Unser Zimmer hat einen erstaunlichen Blick auf die Berge um Yufuin, die das Ambiente unseres Aufenthalts immer noch erstaunlich machten. Die Besitzer betreiben diesen herrlichen ryokan und sie sind wunderbare Leute. Wir können die Dedikation und Pflege sehen, die sie in den ryokan gelegt haben. Ihr Frühstück bento ist ein Highlight und eine tolle Möglichkeit, Ihren Tag zu beginnen. Es ist lecker, ernährend, aromatisch, und wird Sie für Ihren Explorationstag voll halten!
Über ihre 3 privaten Arschlöcher ... Liebe! Sie haben 3 private Arschlöcher, perfekt für Wach- oder Wüstungsschläuche. Ich werde Ihnen das für sich selbst erleben lassen, ohne zu viel zu zerstören. Handtücher, Toiletten, Kleider und Haartrockner sind zur Verfügung gestellt.
Ich denke, dass dieser ryokan (Hotelunterkunft) das beste ist, um den Wert und die Ausstattung zu berücksichtigen. Ich würde sicherlich noch einmal bleiben. Bis zum nächsten Mal, Sanso Tanaka!

GGastnutzerThe staff members were all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel overall was very cozy, particularly the onsens. Although all the four onsens were opened for all guests at the hotel, you can use one of them as long as you want because guests are instructed to hang a sign on the onsen to show that it is currently occupied. This is a great way for the guests to enjoy privacy to themselves, although it is opened publicly. Dinner and breakfast was included in the package so we did not have to worry about finding nearby restaurants. The food was delicious here! Would definitely recommend if you enjoy traditional Japanese meals to get the full experience. We had a private barbecue for dinner, and it was truly immaculate! However, there was smoke all over the hotel lobby coming from the barbecue so it would have been better if they kept the windows opened. It was also indoors so it was slightly overwhelming with all the smoke everywhere in the restaurant. But everything else was on point and breakfast was particularly delicious.

GGastnutzerStaying at this hot spring hotel during cherry blossom season created wonderful memories for my family and me. The hotel provides a convenient shuttle service—just a quick call from the station, and within 10 minutes, a car arrives to take guests directly to the hotel.
The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive. Upon noticing that my father was using a cane, they kindly arranged a room for us without stairs, ensuring a more comfortable stay. The accommodation was spacious, featuring a private onsen and a massage chair, which made the experience even more relaxing. Since the hotel is near the mountains, there were a few insects, but it wasn’t a major issue.
The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and in the morning, guests could get fresh milk with breakfast. The hotel’s location was ideal—just a short distance from the shopping street and Lake Kinrin, making it easy to explore the area.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we truly enjoyed the experience.

JJoySiuyiFür Reisende, die nicht selbstfahren, ist die Lage sehr bequem, etwa 10 Minuten vom JR-Standort und dem Hochgeschwindigkeitsbusbahnhof entfernt, auch die Thombo-Street sehr nahe. Die Hotelumgebung ist sehr klar, alle Zimmer sind unabhängig; außerdem verfügt das Hotel über kostenloses Getränke und Bier und warme Eier. Der Personalservice ist super gut. Das nächste Mal möchte ich in demselben Hotel leben.
