I very much liked my stay here, the room was clean and peaceful, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had everything I needed, and the hotel location was good as it was near Dingsheng Plaza and also along a north-south main road that many major routes in the city travel on. The front desk staff spoke no English, and I only speak very basic Mandarin, but they were able to still fully assist me and help me check in and check out, especially Yun Zhan (云湛), who explained everything with hand gestures and simple words and demonstrated how to do some things too. Thank you very much! This was the first time I stayed at an Atour hotel but I was impressed and would definitely stay here or at another Atour hotel again. There was also free laundry but I did not know how to use it and it was outside the room and down a busy elevator so I never tried it in the end. :D There are very few negatives and most of them are not fixable. One is that I did not like that the toilet was in another room from the bathroom, as I use all of them together and so I had to go back and forth between the two rooms a lot. A second that can be negative for some people is that there was a lot of honking from vehicles, 24 hours a day. However, I actually liked this because the sound was muted, so there was a ”far away busy city” vibe that made me happy. Lastly, the free night time porridge was very watery and not nice at all when I tried it.

Good size rooms. Stayed for four nights. Exactly the same breakfast every day. Could have changed a few things. The reception people hardly speak any English but with the help of translation apps we were fine. The location is great.

Overall, the Berman Hotel offers a delightful experience with its friendly atmosphere, top-notch service, and attention to detail. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Berman Hotel (Zhanjiang Dingsheng Plaza, Seaside Park)—you won’t be disappointed!

This hotel has multiple two-story guest buildings. They do provide free shuttle for traveling among these buildings. However, the buildings are aged. There is no security guard. You can easily enter any building even if you are not a guest. The room where we stayed, there was always some bad toilet smell. They did offer me to switch to a different room but I decided to stay there (too much work to pack all the stuff). There are not many options for breakfast. All the staff look like robots. They don't smile at all. It feels like they want you to quickly finish the meal and get out of there. In general, this hotel is not professional enough for charging this much. Hope they can improve.

Special mention to staff 6018 for allowing a late check out. Breakfast: The offering was focusing on staple carbohydrates like rice, congee, noodles, and buns. However, given that the hotel's restaurant specializes in local dim sum, it felt like a missed opportunity not to feature a few of these signature items on the breakfast buffet. A curated selection would have elevated the meal from simply filling to a more distinctive and enjoyable experience. Areas for Improvement: Our stay was impacted by a few operational inconsistencies. The most noticeable was the lingering smell of cigarette smoke in the hotel corridors, which contrasted with the clean air in the rooms. We also encountered a persistent issue with a malfunctioning toilet in our first room. While the front desk was responsive in offering a room change, the process became confusing due to conflicting messages from different staff members. This back-and-forth, which lasted into the late evening, was frustrating. The situation was only resolved when we firmly communicated our need to change rooms. We hope the hotel can improve internal communication to handle such issues more seamlessly. A small suggestion for enhanced service would be more proactive assistance with luggage, especially for elderly guests, when staff are available. In summary, this is a hotel with strong positives: a great location and clean, comfortable rooms. We would consider staying again, hoping the operational hiccups we faced are addressed. With a few refinements—particularly to leverage its culinary strength at breakfast—it has clear potential to be excellent.

Sie konnten meine Buchungswünsche problemlos erfüllen, was super war. Das Zimmer war sauber, bot eine schöne Aussicht und die Umgebung war angenehm. Das Essen im Hotel war gut; Gäste erhalten im chinesischen Restaurant einen Rabatt, und die Qualität war zufriedenstellend.

The hotel is modern, stylish, and very well maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms that made our stay relaxing. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always happy to help whenever we needed anything. We also really appreciated the overall atmosphere of the hotel — it felt welcoming and comfortable throughout our stay. The location was convenient for exploring Zhanjiang, and the hotel provided everything we needed for an enjoyable visit. I truly enjoyed our stay at Mehood Lestie Hotel and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Zhanjiang. We would definitely stay here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great Service and Comfortable Rooms, but Location Was Misleading The hotel service and room environment were excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. However, I was misled by the location: 1. There is no proper drop-off area at the main entrance, which makes access a bit inconvenient. 2. Although the hotel is named after Wanda Plaza, it actually takes about 10 minutes to walk there, so it’s not as close as expected. That said, I want to give special thanks to the hotel staff. My daughter accidentally left behind her stuffed toy, and the staff promptly called us and arranged to have it mailed back. We are truly grateful for their thoughtfulness and care.
