The weather was very cold when we arrived, and we were warmly welcomed with freshly baked hot sweet potatoes, which instantly made us feel at home. When check in the hotel kindly upgraded us to a river view room free of charge — a lovely and unexpected surprise. This hotel had the most comfortable bed of our entire 10-day journey; we slept incredibly well. We also really appreciated that all the towels were properly sanitized, which made us feel safe and well cared for. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the service and hospitality, and would highly recommend this hotel.

It’s generally ok, feels like a clean and simple hotel with some flies in the room but that’s generally fine. What stands out is the service, they’re pretty helpful and they have free dinner and breakfast although again it’s pretty simple so don’t expect anything too fancy. But what’s the best about this place is that right across it there’s this lovely riverside path to walk along and see the bridge and mountains in the distance. It’s also walking distance (about 15 mins) away from 徽州古城 so that’s great and you’ll get to see the local shops and streets as you stroll from the hotel and then across the bridge to the old town. Highly recommended for solo travellers on a budget!

Mit dem Auto sind die Altstadt von Huizhou und Restaurants nur wenige Minuten entfernt, zu Fuß sind es 20 Minuten. Ausstattung: Die Zimmer sind vollautomatisch und verfügen über elektrische Vorhänge, eine elektrische Toilette und einen Dyson-Haartrockner. Außerdem gibt es eine Kapselkaffeemaschine. Der Tee ist eine Mischung aus grünem und schwarzem Tee, keine Teebeutel. Eine wirklich aufmerksame Geste. Service: Das gesamte Personal war sehr gut. Das Personal in der Lobby war sehr serviceorientiert, aber einigen Mitarbeitern fehlte die Initiative, die Gäste zu begrüßen. Bei so einem tollen Ambiente wäre es schön, wenn dieser Aspekt verbessert werden könnte. Die kostenlose Wasserbar beim Check-in war sehr gut bestückt und bot Limonade, Milch, Wasser und Bier. Es war sehr aufmerksam. Das Willkommensobst war auch sehr lecker. Wir bekamen während unseres Aufenthalts auch eine Gutenachtsuppe, was ein echter Vorteil ist, wenn man mit älteren Gästen reist. Der kostenlose Nachmittagstee war ein wunderbares Erlebnis, perfekt, um am Fluss zu sitzen, zu plaudern und Tee zu genießen. Der Pool bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Fluss, schließt aber leider um 20 Uhr, sodass die Kinder nicht genug Zeit zum Spielen haben. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt ausgezeichnet, und wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten, wenn wir in die Gegend um die antike Stadt Huizhou zurückkehren sollten. Ein Tipp: ein Wäscheständer im Bad oder auf dem Balkon; es gibt keine Möglichkeit, gewaschene Kleidung, insbesondere Badeanzüge, zu trocknen.

We spend two nights in this beautiful hotel. The staff does not speak english but uses translater apps to communicate and is very friendly. The grounds are very special and beautiful, with history but modern at the same time. Our room had a beautiful view to the garden in the back of the building, we could see the trees from our bed. The breakfast was buffet and very tasty, with a lot of variety. There are ebikes at the door, which is very covinient. We would get up early every morning and go to yuling to see the sunrise before having breakfast. We loved our time here and will miss it a lot.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Our room had the most amazing view overlooking the rice fields. The room was clean and bright and had everything one needs for a peaceful stay. Well maybe not everything, it seemed the walls and doors were too thin, so if the other guests are loud, then you will hear everything. But everything is really cute and creative in the hotel. The owner was very friendly and helpful as well. They have a rooftop restaurant, where you can have breakfast and other meals or just chill with coffee or local tea and enjoy the fresh air and the view. The breakfast is typical chinese, so do not expect croissants or sausages and beans or cereals. We had lunches and dinners there too, the food is really good, they cook it like they’d cook for their family. Excellent location for hikes and walks along the rice fields and hills and around the village.

WOW! What a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. A true authentic experience combined with an amazing guide for cycling routes and hiking in the area. I will be returning many times in the future for more mountains to climb! I recommend this place to anyone who likes to ride and enjoy a peaceful local experience. It was the perfect weekend away for the busy city of Shanghai and I met fellow travelers that were all very friendly and we shared meals together.

I was a solo traveler returning from an onward journey, when I booked this property. The hotel is impressive for the balance of price, location and service. The room was impeccably clean and reception staff was very polite. Parking may take a while to find around the hotel, but I never had to go too far. It is a busy area with many interesting restaurants around and the river a minute's walk from the hotel.

This hotel is 10 minute walk across the river to the ancient city wall and the shops. It’s clean and the rooms are a good size. The receptionist took ages to process my foreigner passport which was a tad annoying but eventually it was done. The breakfast was 22rmb and had lots to offer from toast to boiled eggs, Chinese dishes such as dumplings and noodles, plus fruit. O
