2024/04/05-08 Park Plaza Hotel in Nankunshan in Guangdong The hotel's meals are truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in China! They have put so much effort into my food, who cannot eat everything. The weekend there was really pleasant even though it was raining badly all the time. After I talked to the hotel and a manager for about 2 hours that evening when I arrived, to find out if they would be able to give me something to eat, because I'm allergic to several things, I really did not expect much. They said they would bring it to my room... What a pleasant surprise the next morning and the 2 other mornings !!! The most beautiful and most delicious food you can imagine!! Wow and they are far from cities, thus they prepared it with what they had!! 😊🌸🌻👍🏻 The staff were also so polite and friendly!! Unfortunately there was no map of the resort and also not clear signs. I couldn't understand the cryptic directions to the hotsprings the reception gave...😱 Thus I had to wait till the lights came on, then I could see where the lights at the pools were .. Perhaps they can put a ”roof” or cover over some pools, then it will be more enjoyable when raining... Because if the rain, the roof swimming pool was closed, but beautiful view from there. There are so many beautiful nature places nearby to explore and fir hiking, but unfortunately the weather was not good as the rain was pouring! Perhaps the hotel can buy the ugly murals or ruins or half-built buildings that damage and interrupt the beautiful views of trees... It is really a sore eye in the beautiful view... then they can renovate and finish the buildings... I really hope one day I can go again!! But everywhere I have been telling people of this great hotel and will keep on doing it!! 👍🏻🌻😊

Dieses Mal ist es wirklich eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung! Von dem Aufenthalt bis zum Abreisen sind die Betreuer sehr enthusiastisch und der Service sorgfältig und sorgfältig und macht die Menschen besonders freundlich. Das Zimmer ist unverfärbt und lebt sehr ruhig und komfortabel. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr brauchbar, der Geschmack ist gut und es ist warm. We had a joyful and relaxing stay at Nankunshan Zaiyundan Wenquan Homestay the past two days. We stayed in the topmost space capsule, which was spacious and luxurious with an amazing view over the hotel and down into the mountain valleys. The hostess was kind, fun and helpful, organising day trips for us and even taking the initiative to order a super cute birthday cake for our daughter’s 13th. We loved swimming in the pool, soaking in the hot tub and eating at the restaurant, where the lovely cook made delicious food for us morning and night. We especially recommend the fish and the eggplant and green bean stirfry. On our last day the hostess organised a driver to take us to the airport via local attractions and the amazing Zhenggou temple - a great finish to our time in China Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to return someday!

Overall Everything is great .clean and well designed. If it got more connections with the nearby village like cultural programs it would be value added.

Das Zimmer war ziemlich groß und sauber. Das Personal war schön und hilfsbereit. Das Badezimmer hatte eine große Badezimmer und hatte Privatsphäre! Eine Sache, die Sie nie mehr in den Hotels sehen, ist die Privatsphäre! Die Betten waren fest im Hinblick auf asiatische Standards und das Fitnessraum war ziemlich gut, aber Sie müssen bezahlen. Kein kostenloses Frühstück, aber es gab eine McDonalds.

A Hidden Gem in South Kunshan – Truly the Best Homestay in China 🌿🏡 Our stay at Huaxi Yuguwei Mountain Residences in South Kunshan was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly kind and attentive staff, who truly go out of their way to make every guest feel comfortable and cared for. The room we stayed in was very spacious, with cozy bedding and a private balcony offering stunning views of the mountains and the peaceful backside of the property — a perfect escape into nature. The kitchen team was amazing, consistently serving us fresh, flavorful food with great attention to detail and taste. Every meal felt like it was made just for us. Another thoughtful touch was the WeChat group created by the hosts, which included all the staff. It made communication seamless and allowed them to provide even more efficient, personalized service. Though the property is nestled in nature, shops and restaurants are just a 15-minute drive away, so convenience was never an issue. Without a doubt, this is the best homestay experience I’ve had in China. I will definitely return — not just for the comfort and service, but for the peace, relaxation, and closeness to nature that this place offers. Highly recommended! 🌸🌄

Huge resort, in a very quiet area, middle of montains. staff is really friendly and helpful, some of them speak good English ( ask Betty ). The rooms are very big, full equipped, no USB plug so take yours. The hot spring is amazing with great variety of basins but always hot water…. One Chinese restaurant and one buffet restaurant, where you can find call what you like. You must try the draft beer at the buffet…. Breakfast is huge with lot of dishes, fruits, even coffee. Located at 20km from highway (G45), hotel is easy to find. At only 500m from hotel, a small village with lot of small shops, where you can find what you need. If you have car, parking inside hotel, free. Since 12 years I go many times there, and I don’t see any change. Always clean and the same perfect service.
