The hotel was good, but it feels a bit overpriced as I booked even better one for the same price in Vienna, which is a contrast city in terms of the price. Gentleman at the reception was friendly. Bear in mind that the hotel will charge additional city tax when you move in.
The hotel itself was more less clean, but the room was not spotlessly cleaned to be honest. I had some hair on the soap dispenser and some threads in the bath. The bed was a bit small and short, furniture was slightly damaged. The door had old post soviet style of faux leather Ron top and I was wondering why… I woke up at the middle of the night from the screams of the children that were so loud in the corridor for some reason. The sound insulation is not good at all there sadly and the fabric door did not really help.
The hotel has nice authentic lobby which reminds a Soviet porch with Persian carpets. I booked 1 month in advance for 26th of December and paid $68, which I think is overpriced, considered the quality and space of the room. If it was cheaper, I’d have given more starts for this review. It is ok for one night if you just come and fall asleep. Hotel needs renovation.

Ich hatte einen schönen Aufenthalt, das Zimmer war schön und sauber und perfekt für eine Nacht. Das Personal war sehr hilfreich hinsichtlich der späten Eincheckung und arrangierte für einen Schlüssel mit meinem Zimmer. Mein einziger negativer Punkt ist, dass das heiße Wasser in der Dusche nicht sehr heiß war, und ich musste eine Lukewärme Dusche haben, bevor ich gehe, was nicht ideal war.

Best hotel in centre of Bratislava. We were very pleased with the location of this hotel since it's literally behind presidential palace (what I believe is heart of the city). Historical part is 5-7 mins. walk, train station is 2 bus stops from presidential palace and to go to walk alongside the Danube river it was beautiful. There are many restaurants in city centre and right next to the hotel is a small grocery shop. Hotel is very modern and new, the staff was very nice and helped us when we needed. Girl on reception knew also russian/ukrainian which was nice to see. Hotel as well as room themselves were very clean and everything is proveded. They even have washing machine, dishwasher and kitchen in apartments! It was very convinient for us! We are looking forward to come back on our visit of Bratislava! Thank you Metropolitan Star hotel!

Das Haus befindet sich unmittelbar am Rande der Altstadt, alle zentralen Punkte/Sehenswürdigkeiten sind also fußläufig erreichbar. Die komfortablen Zimmer strahlen eine einladende Atmoshäre aus. Nicht besonders ”fancy”, kein großer Luxus, sondern ”gediegener” 4 Stern Standard. Eine ideale Option, für einen Kurzzeitaufenthalt oder für Reisende, die keinen Wert auf eine große Hotelinfrastruktur (verschiedene Restaurants, Wellness,......) legen. Das Hotel liegt nahe am Bahnhof. Zur Altstadt sind es gut 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Check in verlief schnell und unkompliziert. Die Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet und sauber. Momentan muss eine Reinigung der Zimmer noch an der Rezeption angemeldet werden. Die Versorgung mit WLAN ist im Hotel sehr gut. Das Frühstück bietet eine gute Auswahl und ist sehr gut.

Super Lage. Sehr sauber. Alles da was man braucht. Nachsteck-Parkticket für die Garage Zentrum um 20EUR/Tag an der Rezeption erhältllich. Schalldichte Fenster, zum Gang jedoch außergewöhnlich hellhörig - um 5uhr morgens ratterten und rumpelten andere Gäste mit ihren Trolleys an uns vorbei. Für allein Reisende perfekt, auch zu dem Preis, aber wir waren als Paar unterwegs und dafür war es sehr ungeeignet. Das Klo ist neben dem Bett und es gibt keine echte Türe, sondern nur eine fancy Glasschiebewand, die nicht komplett schließt - das kann ein romance-killer sein :D Wie gesagt, tolle Apartments, aber für einen romantischen Aufenthalt würde ich was anderes nehmen.

We’ve just had a great one-night stay at this hotel after a stop in Bratislava on our way to Prague. You can’t do better than this location, it’s right in the middle of the old, just a few steps from the square. Our room was comfortable and quiet, the staff were great and the breakfast was also good. Our highlight was the restaurant adjoining the hotel - we ate dinner here and enjoyed a delicious traditional meal. Would love to stay here again.

War es wenige Nächte für eine Geschäftsreise Die Größe des Zimmers war ziemlich kleiner als Standard Kein Königsbett, nur Doppelbett, aber zumindest kann man zusammen Badewanne Dusche zusammen, zumindest gibt es eine Badewanne! Ein freies Wasser pro Tag, das ist schön Was nicht so gut Es gab eine Box von rotten Pfeffer in meiner Minibar, wenn in... offensichtlich nicht gründlich geprüft Frühstück war unter dem Durchschnitt, Kochen waren wirklich jünger und die Portion Größe war zu klein Die AC kann nicht eingestellt werden, das Zimmer war nur zu heiß für diese Zeit

Another good example of the excellent Ibis range. This hotel is situated right under the hill of the famous Bratislava castle but is also within easy walking distance of the old town quarter of Bratislava. Also, a tram stop and bus stops very nearby. My room had a basketball theme which was cool, and it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, as it generally is at Ibis. Staff very nice and friendly.

Das Hotel hat einen guten Standard und ist sehr sauber. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Zimmer/Apartments hatten eine gute Größe und waren schön eingerichtet. Das einzige Aber ist, dass wir drei Damen über 60 sind. Nicht nur war der Weg bergauf von der Altstadt eine ziemliche Herausforderung, sondern der Hotelparkplatz ist ein gepflasterter Hang und der Eingang zur Rezeption führt über zwei Treppen, eine ohne Handlauf. Die Entfernung zur Altstadt war kein Problem, aber der Rückweg war eine Qual, besonders bei der Hitze. Ich möchte auf keinen Fall die Qualität des Hotels schmälern, aber ich denke, ältere Menschen oder Menschen mit Mobilitätsproblemen sollten wissen,

GGuest UserCrisp, professionelles Personal glänzen dieses ältere Hotel. Ich habe seit August 2021 in diesem Hotel für Geschäftszwecke verblieben. Das Personal hat während der ersten Sommer der Post Covid Reise einen graziösen Service angeboten. Ich war sechs Wochen lang im Zimmer und sie haben einen größeren Raum geliefert, da ich so lange mit ihnen wäre. Ich habe dort schon viele Male geblieben und habe immer einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt genossen.

GGuest UserDas Arcadia besticht durch seine zentrale Lage in der Fußgängerzone der Altstadt. In wenigen Minuten ist man an allen schönen Orten. Trotzdem ist es ruhig gelegen. Die Atmosphäse dieses mittelalterlichen Gebäudes ist genau passend. Mit seinen ca. 20 Zimmern ist es auchsehr privat. Trotzdem hat das Hotel einen guten Service. Abstriche gibt es nur beim Frühstück - dass etwas regionaler und individueller sein könnte - und beim Wellnessbereich. Der ist nicht nur klein, sondern leider nur individuell zu reservieren und muss extra bezahlt werden.

RRiznychokDie Lage des Hotels ist gut. Das Zimmer ist sauber und hat alles, was ich brauchte. Der Service ist auch gut. Aber es gab Probleme mit heißem Wasser in einem Zimmer. So bat ich einen Mitarbeiter namens Alicia, mir zu helfen, diese Frage zu lösen oder das Zimmer zu ändern. Aber Alicia begann, brutal zu sein und sagte, das Wasser war nicht so kalt und ich konnte duschen. Aber die Wassertemperatur war wirklich kalt. Ich war überrascht. Deshalb wurde unsere Zahl geändert, aber nur nach dem Konflikt.

The room is very tiny, but its really stylish and very cosy. I really love the design of the room and bathroom too. It was very clean. And I looooved that you could pick from 3 different variations of pillows. Actually the whole hotel has pretty great design and ”coming home” feeling. Haven seen hotels pool and sauna but its definitely big plus point. The location isn't perfect, but its quite ok, by walk 15-20min you can reach pretty much everything important. And now to the things I didn't like - I must say staff - from four and half star hotel I would really expect more. Girl who was working at night shift was sweet and helpful, but young man who was there the rest of my stay behaved almost pissed that I came to their hotel, wasn't very helpful, never smiled...I was very shocked. I know that not every day is a good day, but if you work with people in almost 5 star hotel, you just need to have certain way of behaviour. The internet didn't work at all, which I think its absolutely inadmissible in 4 and half star hotel. The IC didn't work either, the switcher was broken. The worst of all was that the main door to the room is paper thin and you can hear people breath on the hall or even in the next room. When I stayed there some other guest had party on the hall and later on in their rooms until 4am and its was absolutely NOT OK for such an exclusive hotel! So even there was nice bed, mattress, bed sheets....the sleeping quality was almost zero! I would highly recommend to change the main doors to the room to a soundproof ones.

GGuest UserIch habe im Februar zwei Nächte geblieben, das Hostel war sauber, geräumig, leicht und ziemlich gemütlich. Das Hostel fühlt sich etwas wie eine gewaltige Wohnung mit vielen Zimmern, es hat eine schöne und ruhige/kühle Atmosphäre, ich fühlte mich dort wie zu Hause, die ich wirklich geschätzt. Im großen ”Wohnzimmer” gibt es zwei große Tische mit Stühlen (perfekt für Spieltischspiele), Sofa mit Armstühle und Buchhülle mit Armstühle in der Ecke. Im Wohnzimmer gibt es immer Tee/Kaffee zu machen, das ist sehr angenehm. Es gibt auch eine kleine Küche, geeignet für die Küche. Toiletten und Badezimmer waren sauber und ok. Ich mochte das Bett, es war komfortabel und machte keinen Lärm beim Bewegen. Zimmer sind sehr geräumig. Ich möchte dem Gastgeber, Rado, nochmals danken, der so freundlich war und mich durch eine Post (kostenlos!) Dinge, die ich im Hostel vergessen habe:)) Nächstes Mal in Bratislava werde ich definitiv dieses Hostel wieder auswählen.

GGastnutzer4-16-2022 This is a nice hotel nestled in the neighborhood of Bratislava on the hill. My room had a Garden which was beautiful. The views of the local neighborhood and the Bratislava Castle sitting on the hill was a night sight in the evening and especially in the morning. The property and the neighborhood was very quite. So you will rest well. Bratislava central station is only a mile away. The slavin monument is up the hill a half a mile away. Old town is short walk down the hill as well. The room was very clean and cozy. I would stay their again.

GGuest UserGroßes Hotel, Bad, Betten, Frühstück. Kann nicht besser sein! Die Dame am Frontdesk war willkommen und zeigte uns um. Zimmer hatten auch einen Fernseher in ihnen, was eine schöne Ausstattung war. Wäre sicher konsoder hier wieder zu bleiben.

GGastnutzerStaff sent very good instructions on how to get to the property from the station which was appreciated. Short walk from the bus. Staff friendly and welcoming, we did have a few issues with the room booking but it was resolved. They take 10 euro deposit in cash which was returned easily on check-out. Room was clean and bathroom too, had everything we needed but was very very hot (only 1 fan). A free drink voucher was a nice touch and the bar was cheap and sociable. Easy walk into the main town for tours etc the next day. Stored bags for us, kitchen looked good although we didn't use it. Very close to a large Tesco store for groceries/snacks.

Ich habe für ein Doppelbettzimmer bezahlt, ich habe zwei getrennte Betten (nach der Bezahlung realisiert, also bitte sorgen Sie sich um und prüfen Sie das Zimmer, bevor Sie bezahlen), wenn ich fragte, warum, Der Empfangsmann (der eigentlich der Eigentümer des Hotels war, der kaum Englisch spricht) begann zu sein, zu sagen, dass ich für zusätzliche Geld zahlen muss, um ein Doppelbett zu bekommen, ich habe die Buchung geprüft und ich finde, dass ich keine Fehler gemacht habe und ich habe richtig gewählt, Und die Buchung ist mit dem gleichen Preis für die gleiche Nacht für Doppelbett, bis jetzt bin ich nicht sicher, was sie mir zu zahlen will, dann wandte sie sich von den Lichtern und ging in ein geschlossenes Büro, wodurch uns auf der Rezeption, schlechte Erfahrung. Abschließend spielen sie mit den Buchungen und versuchen, mehr von Gesten zu erhalten, das ist so äcklig ... Ich werde nie wieder dort gehen ...
