Grand Country Waterpark Resort

Room was very nice and updated. Requested room on first floor and we where very pleased that request had been noted by staff. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed having everything available without having to get out in traffic. We saw 2 shows, played at the arcade, had good pizza, played mini golf, had excellent breakfast, and a very fun afternoon at their water park all on the same property on 76 highway. Couldn't be more pleased with our stay. All staff were very pleasant and helpful also. Stay here if you want to have a hassle free vacation!

Upon arrival we opened the door to the room and a stinky smell was in there. Whet in and the toilet had poop everywhere ( have pictures). Called and they said they would be right up to take care of this. No one showed. Called again and same thing. Went to checkout and was told the manager would contact me and to this day August 26,2024 manager has not contacted me. With this kind of filth I don’t want to sleep there.

I usually refrain from leaving negative reviews, especially as a business owner, but our recent experience at the Grande Country in Branson, MO was incredibly disappointing. My husband, our 3-year-old son, and I were hoping for a pleasant stay, but it turned out to be the worst experience we've had in Branson over the past 30 years. First, despite being advertised as kid-friendly, the resort is not ideal for families with young children. Early every morning, workers were rolling loud carts and repeatedly slamming doors, making it impossible for our child to sleep. The noise levels were unbearable. Second, our room was poorly insulated. At 2:30 AM, smoke from people smoking outside filled our room to the point where we couldn't sleep. This was not only uncomfortable but also unhealthy, especially for our child. Third, the water park was not worth the money. It was small, overcrowded, and poorly maintained. The workers there were extremely rude and unhelpful, which added to our frustration. Fourth, we had a family emergency back home during our first night (we had booked for four nights). When we explained our situation to the staff and requested a partial refund, they were unsympathetic and could not have cared less. They bluntly told us no and showed no concern for our situation. Finally, when we brought up all our concerns to the front desk, the lady simply responded with, "that sucks." This dismissive attitude was the final straw in our already disappointing stay. In summary, I highly recommend taking your money elsewhere for a memorable experience. Our stay at the Grande Country was one of our biggest regrets, and we would not recommend this resort to anyone. The combination of noise, poor room insulation, subpar amenities, rude staff, and lack of empathy from the management made this an all-around terrible experience.

We all had a great time. Our granddaughters, 8 and 11, were able to find activities that they enjoyed together and separately. Water slides with different "difficulty" level to accommodate all ages, including adults. Restrooms and changing areas were clean. Loved the hair dryers. Great lifeguards. I felt safe letting our granddaughters go all over by themselves.

The rooms were clean! We stayed in the clubhouse room! The lifeguards were not very friendly and while we were out getting breakfast my daughter’s wallet was stolen with 217 dollars inside it! It was saved for her trip! We will not return to this resort!

We had a 3 night reservation at this motel. We will not be back. Upon arriving we found that the water park does not open until 1 pm. On the second day of our stay at the water park we found that the largest of the hot tubs was down and they were not sure when it would reopen. After about 2 hours of being at the water park 5 of the water slides were down with no time set for reopening. The bathrooms are extremely small. One of my kids found that the water in the rooms was extremely hot, possibly to burn him. After one night we had enough and checked out. They refused to return any of your money, so we paid 300 dollars for one night. Watch these people. We have tried numerous times to get a manager on the phone but one is never available. It was originally 800, but they gave me a 500 dollars back, but still not worth it.

We spend thousands of dollars a year going to Branson 3-5 times a year, but we will no longer spend our money on anything related to Grand Country Resort. We ALWAYS went to see AppleJack and Andy, at the Comedy Jamboree, but since they fired (the lady with the tattoos told us he was fired), we will no longer support anything related to Grand Country. Apple Jack and Andy were the stars of the show, but not anymore. You lost a loyal family due to poor management decisions.

Cheap and cheerful cafes😊exciting memories, spacious pools and water park😊 friendly, nice atmosphere, sunny weather, lots of shows, museams and gift-shops in the neighborhood, great view when you go towards the lakes, and the buffet is really good.
