Dreadful. Are you serious? You charge £15 per breakfast??? Really have you eaten any of it? It was disgusting!!! you just didn't cope for the people who were staying. Your cereal options were very limited... corn flakes or bran flakes... not a lot of fresh fruit.. the cooked breakfast was raw... Shocking!!!! I really can't even describe how much is missing or just really sadly done in a very poor attempt!! Oh and for booking the restaurant.... are you an all inclusive? No... the hotel. no. Just no you can't book. But you can go into the bar and order the same food... okay thanks. Until you try... no the restaurant is no longer taking orders... what its not even late... the kitchen has 20 orders, they won't take any more... okay take the menus off the bar so that isn't an option. It wasn't late. Honestly you have a great location, your rooms are really old and showing it! Broken tiles.... mouldy baths and showers... Mold and mildew spray would be great... noone wants a shower/ bath that just had black mould everywhere.. honestly you are just putting people off. I can't see where any of the renovation has happened...in the different rooms I had booked... I will never choose to stay at this hotel again. O⁹h and the key cards that didn't work... oh sorry forgot the lack of water... no dispensers, none in the room... unless you want tap water. honestly you really need to look at what you're trying to sell... you're at the wrong end of what you think you provide... I personally recommend the citrus! At least they are interested!! This is possibly the worst the hotel I have stayed at for many years. I whole heartily recommend that this is not worth what they charge. If money had been invested... I can't see where. Tragic!!!

We chose Brandon Hall Hotel for our daughter’s wedding because it offered the flexibility of numbers of guests and charming intimate spaces for the ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening. We were not disappointed. The whole day ran with effortless efficiency under the calm supervision of Kelly the wedding planner and her team. The food, both day and evening was superb and drew many compliments, and we found the evening bar prices reasonable. We would heartily recommend this as a wedding venue. We had a most wonderful day.

I booked two rooms well in advance, assured that everything would be prepared for my stay. However, when I arrived, it became clear that the hotel was completely unprepared. They were severely understaffed, and although the few staff members present were polite and tried their best, the overall situation was a mess. After waiting over 30 minutes just to check in, I was told that they weren’t allowing any guests to stay. This forced me to find alternative accommodations at the last minute, which cost far more than what I had originally planned. I later learned that the hotel has recently been shut down and taken over by another company. It’s no longer functioning properly as a hotel, so I have no idea why they’re still accepting bookings. The staff did what they could under the circumstances, but it was clear they were as frustrated as the guests. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, I cannot recommend this hotel. The management is either disorganized or simply doesn’t care about their guests. If you value your time and money, stay elsewhere.

Booked in for 2 rooms well in advance and was told that all facilities and room would be reserved. When the time came and I arrived at the hotel, they were severely understaffed, with barely any employees around to assist guests. I waited for over 30 minutes just to try and check in only to be told that they aren't allowing any guests to stay. Had to go and book elsewhere on the spot which ended up costing a lot more than what it would have otherwise cost. It's clear that this hotel is either underfunded or poorly managed, and they clearly don’t care about customer satisfaction. I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable or convenient stay. I had a look at prior reviews and having spoken to staff, it seems as if the hotel has recently been shut down and has been bought out by another company. It's not even functioning as a hotel anymore and I'm surprised they are still accepting bookings. Don't waste your time and money.

Booked this hotel as it had good reviews and pool & Gym etc. On arrival there was a notice to say "no Spa Facilities/ no Gym. No warm welcome, check- in was not very sincere, and I was not very enamoured. Breakfast - same standard of greeting from man in breakfast room - a few grunts, no explanation on where things were. Just poor. The breakfast food was on the budget end of the spectrum, dare I say cheap catering products and the breakfast was not the start to the day I had planned. The positive - there was one The room was fine, warm & clean, the only positive thing on the stay was the good quality towels. This is a shame as the place has potential, however, the basics of customer service and staff in hospitality are severly lacking...this is probably driven from the management.

I really enjoyed this hotel. It was amazing value. I liked the late check in. Leisure facilities were free and could use the pool, gym, sauna and steam room the next day after a lovely breakfast. Yes it was older style but the grounds are amazing. I have just contacted them today and they are refurbishing the leisure facilities which are closed in the next 2 wks. I'm am definately booking next year again to with my friends.
