Comfort Inn

Our experience at this hotel was pretty awful from start to finish. When we first checked in, we were put in a room that was clearly smoked in. The room itself was filthy. Stains on the carpet, filth and mould in the bathroom, peeling wallpaper, and some weird green goop dripping on the patio window. I asked to move rooms, and the front desk agent was helpful in getting us into another room. Unfortunately that room was along the main road, with a fire station right across the street, so there was constant noise all night. In addition, the air conditioner was VERY loud. I got up in the middle of the night and hit the "off" button, but for some reason, the fan still kept coming on. It was a very sleepless night. Unlike other hotels, this one has not resumed breakfast service, and offers a "breakfast in a bag" instead, with fruit, a waffle, and a juice in a bag. I don't know if there is a security issue here, but the door was locked 24/7, and you had to be buzzed into the lobby, even in the middle of the day. The only good thing I can say is the woman at the front desk was nice and pleasant, and was helpful in us moving rooms. I would certainly never stay here again,
