Avoid at allllll costssssss. First of all, everything seemed really good, the room was a decent size, the bed was big enough for 2 people, although if you like to sleep in a hard mattress where when you wake up you feel like you went to war? Well their beds are the best for you then, the pillows makes your neck be in pain when you wake up of how flat they are. Also, I was there for 5 nights, and believe it or not, it was 2 people, we started with 3 toilet rolls, which we barely use on the first day, we arrived at the hotel around 3pm, went to do some quick shopping of snacks and drinks which you can easily do around you, and then we went to find a restaurant and eat and etc, so we barely used any toilet paper, the next day after the housekeeper was there, we realised from 3 toilet rolls, we only had 2, which we were confused because we had 3, but oh well. So we spent the all day in the hotel, and the toilet paper is really thin and not big, probably as big as half a toilet paper, either way, they did not leave any more toilet paper, throughout the 5 nights we were there, which is ridiculous because we either asked or bought some ourselves, which is ridiculous having to spend money on toilet paper that should be provided by the hotel. I think it was really bad, but if that is not enough to keep you away, then go ahead and book a room to one of the worst hotels in the area I would say.

Easily a 3* hotel! We looked at this hotel as we were having our wedding in Braga and wanted to provide a budget option for guests. It was so brilliant that we ended up staying there on our second visit to the city. The only reason they don’t have three stars is because they don’t have space for a third set of lifts. Ignoring that, this hotel and the rooms are clean, comfortable with modern decoration and all the basic amenities you need for a quick stay. They offered a continental breakfast which was more than enough to get the day started and also have a restaurant/bar with a solid set of variety - large portions, tasty food with low prices. When enquiring about block bookings or info re. The hotel, they were very responsive and informative. Location wise, it is right next to the station/taxi rank and about 7mins walk into the city centre so very convenient. Definitely recommend for those something cheap and cheerful for a city break!

[To Accor members] Am not sure if Mercure in the same city is a better choice if you are as me a loyal Accor members unfortunately. As a diamond member, I have my stay here during weekend. Luckily I asked before having breakfast as I’m told that I don’t have my complimentary breakfast, not here in Braga for anyone! As checked in the Accor page, this Braga Ibis is indifferent and shall offer the same as all other participating Accor hotels. Be disappointed by the welcome drink and the missing “welcome gift”. Not even a bottled water / muffin / so…. [To everyone] I guess we like to choose Ibis because of the reliability of the standard and quality versus the price. Here in Braga Ibis Centro, be surprised. Refer to my photo attached and find yourself in a room with mould. It’s not always easy to communicate to the staff for a change of room especially it’s already late. I’m sure there are quite a lot of other alternatives around. The decor is definitely outdated. Very unfriendly socket locations and so on…as you can expect from a hotel in the 90s. BTW, It’s not at a particularly quiet location.

Infelizmente só não têm melhor avaliação por ter de entregar a chave de cada vez que saía, mas ainda pior porque na última noite estive cerca de meia hora a tocar à campaínha para que me abrissem a porta. Quando abordei a vossa colaboradora e perguntei se estava tudo bem, respondeu ”sim, porque não haveria de estar?” ao que respondi que estive cerca de meia hora a tocar à campaínha e inclusive cheguei a ligar para a recepção, mas a pessoa levantou as sobrancelhas, encolheu os ombros e riu. Se o atendimento é 24/7, um pedido de desculpa teria sido suficiente. Acerca da limpeza, era boa, o quarto era espaçoso, com arrumação, mas infelizmente ouvia muito barulho. As cortinas apesar de opacas, também não tapavam totalmente a claridade.

Wir würden lieber frühstücken, wenn wir die Reise beginnen, und deshalb nutzen wir den Hotelservice nicht. Aber die Freundlichkeit und Sympathie des Personals hat uns wirklich beeindruckt, weit über unsere Erwartungen hinaus. Ich gratuliere dem Team, das wir dort gefunden haben, und empfehle das Hotel offen allen, die sich wie alten bekannten Menschen behandeln wollen.

Das Hotel bietet eine unverbesserliche Lage, um Braga zu besuchen, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Einrichtungen sind sauber und gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und ausreichend groß. Außerdem gibt es 5 Parkplätze, zusätzlich eine für behinderte Menschen, direkt an der Tür, wo Sie das Auto verlassen können, wenn es freie Parkplätze gibt (reservieren Sie nicht). Rat für die, die in den Autos gehen: Wenn Sie den Browser benutzen, setzen Sie die Straße Afonso Henriques, nicht die in den Hoteldaten. So wird der Browser Sie direkt zum Parkplatz führen. Letztendlich ist ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel für die freundliche Betreuung, die Bequemlichkeit und die Lage. Unser Aufenthalt war sehr gut. Vielen Dank.
