Location, staff, room everything was fine, but exhaust fan wasn’t working in bathroom & in AC ventilation was looks dirty(dusty).

The staffs were great, food was simple, However the room was not that clean, Found apple core under TV, and the skirting was dusty too

Really good for the price

A budget stay with very reasonable price for just a stay. Complete package with simple breakfast provided. I would say with this price, it is a pass.

Affordable hotel near Canberra Centre. It also includes breakfast. Clean apartment. Easy check in and check out.

Overall, our stay at Madison Apartments was pleasant once we finally got into the room. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed — from toiletries to kitchen essentials. The A/C wasn’t working properly at the time, but it wasn’t a big issue since the weather was cool. However, the check-in process was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I had called ahead to ask if we could check in just 30 minutes early as I wasn’t feeling well and needed to rest. Upon arriving around 1:35 pm, we were told the room wasn’t ready, which I completely understood since the official check-in time was 2 pm. But when we came back at 2:40 pm, the room was "still not ready". The receptionist asked us to wait another 30 minutes to an hour — we ended up waiting until almost 3:30 pm, and it was still not prepared. It was honestly a terrible start to our stay — being sick, exhausted, and having nowhere to rest while continuously being told “just a little longer.” The receptionist was kind and apologetic, but it was clear she wasn’t getting any real updates from housekeeping. It felt disorganised and unprofessional for an apartment of this standard. Breakfast was another letdown for $25 per person — very basic, with no hot food. Just bread, cereal, fruit in syrup, and some bakery items. The pancakes were the only saving grace. Coffee mix wasn’t good either. Once inside, though, the apartment itself made up for it — spacious, comfortable, and had everything you could need. It’s a nice place overall, but the check-in process seriously needs improvement.

Location is good. Breakfast is simple, no any vegetables and egg. No power socket on bed side. Shower flower is old with little water and little leaking. Consider the location and price, still ok.

The significant road noise throughout the night is the main reason for lower rating. I did ask for a quieter room but reception said none available. Breakfast was fine, beds comfortable.

Apart from the convenient location, everything else was very disappointing. The facilities feel outdated, like something from the 1990s. The elevators shake and feel unsafe, which was quite unsettling. The bathroom was not properly clean, and the hot water was inconsistent. We were told the room would be serviced by 10am, but when we returned at 2pm, it still hadn’t been cleaned. I would not recommend staying here.

Older hotel that had renovated. The rooms were a good size with kitchen and facilities. The bedroom area was a generous size with a queen and single bed. Mattresses quite soft so if you’re used to a firm bed, you will notice the difference. Abundance of power outlets ( no usb charging), and a 43 inch TV. The bathroom was large, and had been renovated with new appliances but, they had left the old bathroom ceiling which was in a bad way and no ceiling fan so lots of condensation which led to mould spots on the new shower walls. No shower screen, only a curtain and it seemed that the water runoff on the floor was running away from the two drains as it was pouring into the kitchen and onto the carpet in the bedroom area. ( She does use a lot of water but it should have coped). Basically a great hotel for the money and excellent location near the cbd and plenty of good restaurants. Added bonus for us was having free Tesla destination charging which meant driving down from Sydney, we didn’t need to go searching for a charge station.

We really enjoyed our one-night stay at this aparthotel. It's not right in the center, but it's within a pleasant 10-15 minute walking distance. The hotel offers free covered parking and even a complimentary charging station for electric cars. Our room was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We had the included continental breakfast, which featured a variety of cereals, snacks, pastries, fruits, yogurts, and even an automatic pancake machine! As a minor suggestion, I would have appreciated some protein options, such as eggs. Overall, a great experience and we would happily return.
