The Mews Boutique Apartments

house非常好，大客廳 壁爐 沙發 廚具 一應俱全，以至於我們一住到愛丁堡的小酒店裡就開始想念湖區的大house了。離公交車站 遊船碼頭都非常近，附近也有不少餐廳選擇，有家flying pig pub不錯。 入住過程小曲折，房子得從主街一家紅色sugar house隔壁的門進，但需要密碼，密碼並不會通過郵件發送，而是需要用英國手機號給房東打電話，房東再通過短訊把checkin guidance發送到手機上。這點一開始不知道，就有點懵。

We stayed over st the mews apartments last night. And we have nothing but good things to say about it. We stayed in apartment one which is on the ground floor at the rear of the building. It was perfect. Amazing decor inside with absolutely everything you need. The apartment was lovely and toasty warm.. very peaceful and quiet. The bed was super comfy. It is just a few minutes walk from the center of bowness. We will definitely be booking to come back soon and recommending to others.

We didn't receive check in instructions 3 days before as stated on our booking (via VRBO) so I had to contact the host. They responded quickly and said we would receive check in details on the day when the apartment was ready, which was a bit worrying! We received a text half an hour before check in. The apartment was nice but wasn't what we had booked (different aoartment!) and also had no parking despite specifically stating this on the booking. The host responded quickly and sent someone within a couple of hours to sort the beds into singles for the kids so that was fine. The beds were comfortable, the water was hot and the apartment was generally nice but unfortunately it was too noisy for me. The sweet shop downstairs plays loud radio all day and you can hear noise from other flats. Plus it's right on a road and one night we had some people loitering about outside screeching. Luckily I had earplugs! We were offered use of a parking space but there was often someone else in the space. There is a public car park across the road so it's not a big deal but the listing / booking should make this clear and not state that there is parking if there isn't. If booking via VRBO just check with the host what you are booking first!

What a great little find. Beautiful apartment; right in the middle of Bowness. Lots of nice little touches such as cotton wool, tissues, teabags, washing up liquid, coffee machine with pods. Nice, clean, modern and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Fantastic apartment but we had a couple of problems, communication was extremely poor and we weren’t told about how the entry code would be sent or when it would be sent, after an hour chatting with the agent we booked with, we were put at ease and the code was sent to my phone the day we were due to arrive. It was evening and we wanted to have a shower after driving from Suffolk to the lakes, the shower was not working properly so no shower, the sink was so small the only place to wash was the cloak room which had the biggest sink, to be fair the shower was replaced the following afternoon, again things weren’t checked properly and because the water had been turned off to replace the shower, no one had bled the taps of air, the taps are waterfall style and with a blast of air I got covered in water. It’s a shame, more attention to make sure all the facilities are working properly wasn’t carried out, also better communication and this place would be fantastic.

Wow it was AMAZING stay!!! We arrived earlier (my mistake) and we were able to check in earlier as well - thanks to a very helpful host! Also the rooms were perfectly clean, so tidy and just high class! We will be staying there again!
