Sunrise on our dock, and sunsets on the beach, we love our property and know you will too.Our one bedroom apartment is offered exclusively to guests (no owner's belongings to navigate around). We provide a welcome "starter" of complimentary coffee, tea, creamer, condiments, spices, and more. This is a ground floor unit with approximately 450 square feet of living area just off the center courtyard. The tranquil inter-coastal backyard is just through the adjoining breezeway. Please note, there is no water view from inside the apartment. There is one king bed in the bedroom and USB plugins for your electronics are provided in both the bedroom and living area. The property is secured by a large, access controlled wooden gate; and the apartment has a smart lock with keyless entry. Guests are provided access codes the morning of their scheduled arrival via text and email.The apartment is equipped with two "Smart TV's" with internet streaming services (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc) -- guests must have their own account. High speed Wi-Fi internet is provided throughout the property (yes--even outside on the grounds!) at no charge. We provide toiletries, linens, towels, beach accessories (chairs, umbrellas, towels, coolers), gas BBQ grill, complimentary clothes washer/dryer. The large smart key controlled shed holds many of the goodies--you will be provided the code upon check in. Some of the above items are available on a first come first served basis.The apartment has an open kitchen (no dishwasher) and is equipped with all the basics a guest needs to dine in. You will find a K-cup coffee maker, toaster, blender, pots and pans, etc. The full size refrigerator has an ice maker.Central air-conditioning (no wall units or mini-splits) provides guests with consistent climate comfort and very little background noise.About the property: there are 4 apartments on the property (2/2, 2/1, 1/1, and a Single). The spacious grounds, beach and other "toys" are shared by all guests. The property affords multiple seating areas for our guest's comfort. There is also a hot/cold outdoor shower with a privacy door that you won't want to miss, and a spectacular outside kitchen/bar for entertaining!The beach is literally across the street! Also directly across the street is the Island Inn Resort which has a great little Tiki Bar on the beach and is open to the public (the pool however is NOT open to non-island inn guests). You can rent kayaks, paddleboards, umbrellas, chaise lounges and more on the beach in front of the Island Inn.A short walk to the south of us is a liquor store, surf shop (with paddle board rentals), 7-11 store with gas, Caddy's on the Beach, Sea Dogs, Shrimpy's and Taco Bus restaurant. About a 10 minute walk to the north of us is Publix grocery store and many restaurants and bars. Close to Tyrone Square Shopping Mall, Salvador Dali Museum, Sunken Gardens, St. Petersburg Downtown, Fort De Soto Park. Tampa International Airport is about a 35 minute drive. Busch Gardens and Tampa Bay Aquarium are about a 45 minute drive. Clearwater Beach and Marine Aquarium are about 25 minutes north of us. We are approximately 2 hours from Disney World, Sea World & Universal Studios-Orlando.There are 5 parking spaces in front of our building (A thru E). All of the spaces are the same width, but different lengths due to the angle of the building. Please park in the space that best fits the length of your vehicle. Parking space E is best suited for guests with full size pickup trucks or suburban type SUVs. Please note parking is limited to 1 vehicle only. If you choose to park in space E and there is a guest with a larger vehicle than yours, you may be asked to move your vehicle.Laundry closet is located next to the center courtyard and there is no charge to use the machines.One boat slip is available to guests and must be reserved in advance. The dock was just redone in composite decking with bench seating. You can relax on the patio and watch dolphin and manatee swim daily! A 5 minute walk and you are on the beach at the Gulf of Mexico. White sandy beaches and pristine waters make leaving here difficult to do! A short drive and you are at Clearwater Beach, Saint Petersburg, Tampa, Madeira Beach, Bradenton, Sarasota and so much more! You will LOVE our fully remodeled (2023) beach cottage on the Gulf Coast of Florida! We are a one-minute walk to the beautiful sugar sand and blue waters on Sunset Beach in Treasure Island! The cottage is perfect for a family of 4-6 but is also well suited for two couples who want more space, privacy and amenities than a hotel could possibly offer. It is a FULLY FURNISHED 2-bedroom, 2 bathrooms, over 900 sq. ft. single-family home with a very rare completely enclosed private yard with a deck, patio seating for 6-8 people and barbecue. All the furniture is brand new including the mattresses. The Master bedroom features a king-size bed with TV, the second bedroom has queen-size bed with TV and both bedrooms have large closets for storage. Comfortable living room which features a nice space to lounge and an island which seats up to 4 people. FULLY EQUIPPED brand-new kitchen with all new cabinetry, countertops, and stainless-steel appliances. Dishes, utensils, cookware, bakeware, Keurig, and all appliances, large and small. We supply a beach trolley, beach chairs and an umbrella. Enjoy your morning coffee in the sunshine on our front porch, or on the deck in our beautifully treed yard! We have room at the cottage to comfortably park three to four vehicles. The cottage is located on a quiet street, but only a few steps away from the fun! Just a 3-minute walk from the cottage, is the famous Caddy’s on the Beach with indoor and outdoor dining, bars on multiple levels, chair rentals, full menu beachside, drink service, cabanas and beach games. Right across the street from Caddy’s, and only a two-minute walk from the cottage, is Ka’ Tiki, a locals’ favorite in a massive tiki hut with indoor and outdoor seating, bar food, drinks and great live music 7 days a week! Additionally, within a 15-minute walk, or short drive, are other restaurants like Sea Dog, and Shrimpy’ s with beautiful views of the intracoastal waterway. There is a Publix grocery store a mile away and too many great restaurants and shops to mention in St. Pete Beach which is a five - minute drive from the cottage. We are a short drive to downtown St. Petersburg, home of the Tampa Bay Rays, multiple museums and galleries, fine dining, pubs, breweries, a lot of live music and many festivals. North of us, only 5–10-minute drive, is John’s Pass in Madeira Beach where you can find all sorts of water sports, shops, restaurants, and fish markets. Two blocks away from the cottage you can hop on the Suncoast Beach Trolley that runs from Treasure Island all the way to Clearwater Beach! Just like us, you want to make sure your vacation is spent somewhere that is clean, as advertised, and with hosts who care about your vacation experience. This isn’t just a rental property for us, it is our only vacation home so we have fully stocked it with everything we would want when on holidays!
