The 2400 square foot second floor was once used as a mercantile and a boarding house. During Prohibition, the 2400 square foot third floor was converted to a speakeasy. The building was completely renovated while keeping the original trim, doors and windows. In the commercial space below, we have a small venue space/wine/bourbon bar that has live music on Thursday through Saturday. The music is usually from 7-11pm. Most guests come down and enjoy. Detergent is provided, free of charge. ParkingThe home has one private parking space, located in the back parking lot which is attached to the building. Additional street parking spots are available. Accessibility & Security There are 4 stairs outside the unit and roughly 28 stairs going up to the unit itself. From the second floor to the third floor also has stairway. The 2nd and 3rd floors do not have an elevator so you must be able to climb the staircase and carry luggage. This is a historic building, so the stairs are steep. Cameras are in the parking lot and entrance way of the building, including the foyer. Please note: only registered guests are allowed at the unit.Added bonus, we have a small wine bar located in the commercial space below the loft.
