At night, enjoy sitting by the fire beneath the stars.This cabin can sleep up to 4 people: loft with queen bed and the living area has a high-end queen sleeper sofa. (To get up to the loft you will need to climb a library style ladder).Dine inside at the hand-crafted table or outside on the picnic table while using the grill. While the treehouse cabins provide a unique getaway for all, we have a very special mission at Jay Bear’s Retreat: “Giving families of special needs children the opportunity to make memories while enjoying all nature has to offer.” Our son, nicknamed Jay Bear, was born 14 weeks premature and spent the first 5 months of his life in the NICU. Our family knows first hand how important it is to spend time together, but how difficult it can be with so many doctor and therapy appointments. Once a month we will offer a family with a special needs child a free getaway to make new memories that will last a lifetime.
