You are 8 miles to local restaurants in the town of Logan. Our area has so many opportunities for Hiking and getting out in nature. Old Man's cave, Ash cave, Cedar falls, Rock house and Cantwell Cliffs just to name a few.There are nearby opportunities for Hiking, Canoeing/Kayaking, Horseback riding, Zip lining, Bicycling, fishing, climbing and many more.Valley View Hills Winery is just a short drive away less than 5 miles there are also a couple breweries in the Hocking Hills.The opportunity to just stay at the retreat and relax is also a great option. Natures Crest has a fantastic porch swing. The hot tub, fire pit and propane BBQ grill are ready for you to enjoy.There are two bedrooms, with a king-size bed in the master bedroom and a queen-size bed in the guest bedroom. Two full bathrooms. The master bathroom has a huge walk in shower. Natures Crest sleeps 4 people. The maximum number of guests allowed on a reservation is 6. You can bring an air mattress, but we do not provide cots.The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances. We also have a washing machine and dryer please bring your own detergent.The living room has a smart TV and access to DirecTV satellite TV.The road in is paved and the driveway is paved for easy access!In January 2025, we upgraded the living and dining furniture to brand-new pieces.As of June 2022, we completed a major Wi-Fi upgrade. You can stream in 4K or make Zoom calls without any issues. The download speed is approximately 100 Mb per second, and the upload speed is around 10 Mbps. Our Smart TV is operated on a motor to rise up when you’re ready to indulge in your favorite Netflix show or go down when want to unplug and play a board game or cards. Our vintage 1968 Rock-Ola jukebox machine has been fully restored and is filled with a variety of vinyl records like Elvis, Michael Jackson, The Isley Brothers, and more. Punch in what you want to hear and enjoy free play music from both the machine and the overhead kitchen speakers.This space opens to the Kitchen with counter-height bar seating and a "tiny house living" concept. There is a mini fridge and freezer, gas stovetop, oven, microwave, and a wine cooler. The cabinets are stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, and basic kitchenware. You will also have a Keurig single-cup coffee maker and a toaster. The Bathroom is also on the first level with a luxurious open concept shower, LED lighting, and an overhead bluetooth speaker to listen to your own music.Upstairs leads to a large loft bedroom with a king bed and a small seating area. GUEST ACCESS: You have access to our entire 3-acre property. You are welcome to fish in our ponds (bring your rods!), but please NO swimming. PETS: We are dog-friendly! The Hocking Hills State Forest and bridle trail are just outside your door. The Starry Knight Lodge has 4 private bedrooms, 4.5 baths, with 3,000 square feet of living space. Custom cherry cabinets, doors, and paneling. Master en-suite bedroom with Queen size log bed. Two private en-suite bedrooms upstairs with Queen size beds and twin trundle sets. Both upstairs bedrooms have balconies with porch swings to enjoy some personal outdoor quite time. Lower-level bedroom with Queen bed and nearby double sink bathroom. Additional lower-level bunk bed -- Twin over Full. Prepare your meals in the well-equipped kitchen with new stove and ultra-quiet dishwasher! Beautiful oak dining table for sharing meals. Grill (out of the rain!) on the full wrap-around porch (main deck) just outside of the kitchen. Three stone wood-burning fireplaces, 2 indoor and 1 on the main deck. The main deck also has a 3rd porch swing along with 2 patio tables that seat 12 for outdoor dining. Walk out the finished lower level to a private hot tub. You may also enjoy roasting hot dogs and s’mores around the outdoor fire pit.
