Once again we stayed at The Logis du Parvis and found the cathedral-facing suite of rooms to be perfect for our needs. Our only criticism would be the requirement to have breakfast inside in the dispiriting bar area (on a beautiful sunny morning) and the slightly unsmiling/grudging attitude of the breakfast servers. Great rooms for sure, I would tend to eat elsewhere.

Second time we have stayed here and will definitely come back. Last time we had a small room with amazing views of the cathedral and this time a larger room with sitting area over looking the little square at the side. Rooms good, bathrooms good and each visit we have had dinner and lunch at the restaurant downstairs which is directly facing the stunning cathedral. I cannot understand some of the negative reviews as all our meals have been very good, with excellent and friendly service. Prices may be a little higher than elsewhere but setting really is stunning so well worth the few extra euros. We look forward to staying again next year.

Very atmospheric hotel across from Cathedral. Comfy small rooms on the central square for easy walking. Great restaurant-just delicious! Suggest you know a little French but the waitresses speak English, and were so great. The local cheese tart with Maroiles cheese La Flamiche Picarde Au Maroiles was incredible. Yes, a strong scented local cheese, and so creamy and delicious! Desserts are so good too. Highly recommend!

Excellent view of the cathedral from our room. Front facade through our framed windows. Great location across the cathedral square and a short walk to the city center. Charming room with attractive old character and atmosphere. Cathedral impressively lit at night.

Great place to stay. Directly across the cathedral. Beautiful view! Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Staff is very helpful! Restaurant below is delicious. You can pick your room and pictures clearly show the rooms. Soft light from the cathedral at night make it a perfect place to stay

On booking this hotel requires 100% of the accommodation charge (plus taxe de sejour) upfront. Under the hotel’s terms a full refund is due if the booking is cancelled more than 8 days before the stay. I’m sorry to say that I had a struggle obtaining a refund even though I gave 12 weeks notice and did everything required by the hotel. They were slow in returning my emails and insisted on making the refund via international bank transfer, which involved a bank fee. I’ve not received all of my money back, but life’s too short to keep chasing for the balance (although it was promised to me). Not a great advert for the French tourist industry.

This was a beautiful mediaeval city experience and the Logis helped in every way, providing a stylish eyrie from which to view the west front of the remarkable cathedral across the city square. The apartment we stayed in could not have been more perfect being both stylish and comfortable. Breakfast was top notch too. Thankyou for a gracious stay and for a welcome break on our trip down South.

Stayed overnight on a trip home from the Alps. Have seen Laon from the motorway many times and wanted to stop. It did not disappoint. The old town is beautiful with old buildings and cobbled streets and this lovely little hotel lets you stay right at the heart of the town. In a lovely old building it mixes charm with modern facilities. We had a very warm and friendly welcome, our room was extremely comfortable, nice bathroom and wonderful view. Breakfast was good, fresh pastries, great coffee, ham and cheese. There is a restaurant downstairs where we had a great meal and which has a terrace which will be lovely in the warmer weather. A great place to stay, we will certainly stay again and would recommend

We loved this hotel, as well as its restaurant, located on the stunning square overlooking Laon Cathedral. Our second floor room was stylish and very comfortable, with many amenities. Service was courteous and professional. We arrived by train on a holiday and could not find a taxi or uber, but the hotel came to the rescue. We adored our stay in Laon, a beautiful, historic town full of atmosphere.
