Charming place like an island in a big city. The hosts are very friendly and helpfull. The suite are lovely, large and comfortable. This distance to the center of the old city is easy to manage with the tram. We can recommend this charming place in Bordeaux. Brigitte and Frank, Germany

We loved it here and would definitely come back! The room was so clean it was pristine. And the bed was comfortable and the bedding high quality. You won’t find anything better anywhere else. The owners Sylvie and Sebastian are so kind, warm, welcoming,interesting and entertaining that we have no choice but to love them. And the student from Portugal that works the cafe is charming and was super helpful! The property is located in a normal neighborhood, but it’s behind a gate and it’s landscaped beautifully and feels like an oasis. And right around the corner you can get the tram right in the downtown Bordeaux. You wouldn’t want to drive in the town and find parking anyhow. This is the way to go. So much better than staying at a hotel. They serve a delicious breakfast here too, and you’ll enjoy getting to talk to the other guests if they’re around.

My husband and I spent the Easter weekend at Le Clos and were so happy there that we doubt we’ll ever stay anywhere else in Bordeaux. The hosts, Sebastian and Sylvie, were warm and attentive and did everything possible to ensure that we enjoyed our time there. They helped us with finding an excellent taxi, gave us directions and tips, and overall just were just charming. Our suite was beautiful and clean and large with a superbly comfortable bed and crisp linen. The bathroom is enormous and the shower a cascade of loveliness. We had a gorgeous view over the delightful garden and the scent of the trailing wisteria was heavenly. It’s so quiet and peaceful. No noise at all, just the birds and the odd frog. Bliss! The breakfast included the most delicious croissants and homemade vanilla yoghurt with particularly nice fruit salad. The coffee is of an exceptional quality. We travel extensively, but can honestly say that this is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in. Quality in all the details, a rare find. We have lovely memories and will return soon.

This bed and breakfast is in a restored manor house. Completely walled in with on-site parking. The owners have a flair for decorating and the rooms are beautifully and creatively appointed. Where this place really shines is the hosts, Sabastian & Sylvie. They are very helpful with any detail, dining, transportation, etc. We only stayed one night, but would stay here if in the area again. It's close to public transport if you don't have a car. Many of the breakfast items are home-made.

Sylvia and Sebastian are super hosts, made us feel very welcome. Beautiful house and garden with a relaxed feeling. Lots of attention to detail, homemade yogurt with vanilla, homemade preserves for croissants. Air con in room. Excellent location, would highly recommend.

Arriving from airport without knowing the area this is a secret enclave behind large gates in a residential street. The site of an old wine making house which was extensively damaged by fire many years ago, lovingly restored to a peaceful oasis by wonderful hosts Sylvie and Sebastian. We enjoyed a gorgeous room, newly renovated with a black and white theme overlooking the garden. The bed was comfortable and all linen fresh and soft. Breakfast was delicious, and our hosts accommodated our bike delivery for our onward journey brilliantly. Wish we had stayed for much longer! Thank you .

I stayed at Le Clos Des Queyries celebrating my birthday and New Years with my wife. The hosts Sylvie and Sebastian were fabulous. From the moment of arrival I felt embraced like family. The accommodations and service were outstanding. The stay and visit to Bordeaux was memorable. I recommend if you want peace and serenity go stay at Le Clos when you come visit Bordeaux. I look forward to my next visit.
