This home is a large open space perfect for entertaining and communing. It is just outside of the little historic river hamlet of Rabbit Hash. The house was built by Ed Unterreiner, the same builder that rebuilt the Rabbit Hash General Store after the devastating fire of 2016. The modern rustic house is full of salvaged materials and building gems. It is really a must see. Rabbit Hash is conveniently located 20 minutes from I-75, 20 minutes to the Creation Museum, 30 minutes from the ark and just a 5 minute ferry ride across the Ohio River from Rising Star Casino in Rising Sun, Indiana.It has a fully equipt kitchen, sleeping accommodations for 4 people comfortably. Maximum occupancy is 6, not including infants. Pets and parties are not permitted.BEDROOMSBedroom 1 has twin sized bunk beds and a queen sized bed with a full bathroom with a walk in shower in the hall. Enjoy the gorgeous view from the upper or lower deck, the large covered front porch,or the screened back porch. Relax by the pond and enjoy nature. Watch the kids play in the huge yard - swinging, jumping on the trampoline, playing games, or catching fireflies. Other things to note:- There are two Smart TV's on site for your enjoyment. The water is safe to drink but there is also a water cooler provided, if that is desired.Please note that the blacktop driveway is relatively steep and may require 4-wheel drive in icy/snowy conditions.The property does have two security cameras both located outside. One is between the garage doors and the other is on the side porch overlooking the yard. These are for safety purposes only. If you tamper with any camera it is a 250.00 fine and immediate cancellation of booking without refund.
