Es hat eine gute Lage in der Nähe des Zentrums , zusätzlich war alles sehr sauber und es ist so, wie Sie es im Foto sehen. Die Wahrheit, dass eine einzigartige Erfahrung und zu wiederholen. Darüber hinaus reisen wir mit einem Kind und wir hatten keine Art von sehr aufmerksamen und bedienungsfähigen Problem.

Ich und meine Familie planen einen Urlaub nach Algarve, aber da die direkten Flüge nicht jeden Tag nach Faro laufen, haben wir beschlossen, eine kurze Reise nach Porto zu machen 3-day vor dem Abflug nach Algarve. Wir sahen Almada Domus auf Expedia und entschieden, dort zu bleiben, da die Fotos schön aussehen und es beschreibt seine Lage als sehr zentrale für alle touristischen Attraktionen in Porto. Leider, nachdem wir die Buchung gemacht haben wir uns bewusst, dass das Hotel tatsächlich einige Blöcke von den Hauptstraßen entfernt ist und erfordert einen kurzen Aufstieg auf den Hügel zu erreichen, was eine Herausforderung für meinen Mann, der von wiederkehrenden Achilles leidet Tendinitis, die das Gehen schwierig macht und würde Gehenshilfen erfordern. Am selben Tag, innerhalb von 2 Stunden nach der Buchung, habe ich das Hotel per E-Mail um eine Annullierung zu fragen. Ich habe Fabio (die ich annehmen, ist der Hotelmanager/-eigentümer) über meine Situation erläutert und er schien zu diesem Zeitpunkt bereit, meine Anfrage zu befriedigen, aber er hat mir angeraten, direkt mit Expedia zu sprechen. Ich sprach dann mit Expedia und wurde gesagt, dass sie eine kostenlose Stornierung machen können, wenn sie mit dem Hotel bestätigen, dass sie ok sind. Seit letzter Nacht haben wir über 20 E-Mails mit dem Hotel zurückgefahren, und heute Morgen hat Fabio seinen Ton abrupt geändert und sagte, er würde keine kostenlose Stornierung zulassen und wir werden eine 50 % Strafe zahlen müssen, Da die Buchung jetzt „außerhalb des Stornierungsfensters 2-hour“ ist, wäre es „unfair für andere Gäste“ (obwohl ich das Hotel über die Stornierung innerhalb von 2 Stunden nach der Buchung kontaktiert habe, um die Auswirkungen auf ihr Unternehmen zu minimieren). Ich wurde auch von Fabio gesagt, dass „Porto eine Hügelstadt wie Lissabon ist, die nicht freundlich für Menschen mit Schwierigkeiten beim Spaziergang ist“ und sagte, aber wir können Uber überall.... Ich war sehr schockiert über seine letzten Bemerkungen und offenbar enttäuscht, dass er nicht bereit war, zu helfen, obwohl er zu Beginn gesagt hat, dass er es tun würde, als ich zuerst kontaktiert habe.

This place is actually an old motel that has clearly gone bankrupt and still tries to get naive customers to a trap. It smells of mold, there is no shower ( just a broken whirlpool ), there is no maintenance and the staff is clearly unwilling to look after the guests. To make it worse - if possible - they tried to cheat Booking pretending I was not there ( although I have my credit cards statements to prove ) just not to pay their commission. When I wrote this on the Booking review the owner was extremely impolite and aggressive , as his plote was denounced. Honestly, it makes no sense staying there even if it was for free. Run away from this joint!!

I spent 2 nights in a female dorm room. I believe there are mixed dorms and private rooms as well. I had a top bunk but I think you can request a bottom one when booking if you would prefer not to climb up. I had my own lamp and a plug for recharging my devices. The bed was really comfortable. There were 4 ensuites to service our dorm and I never had to wait. The communal area is just wonderful. Cozy lounge chairs as well as some bar stools by the windows were you can look over the river and towards Porto. Most nights of the week, they serve a hostel dinner for €10 which was great value for money. We sat at the large table in the common area and it was great to chat to the other guests. It is also very close to restaurants and bars if you prefer to go out. It is an easy walk over the bridge into Porto. The breakfast was simple but plenty of it and you could request pancakes or eggs for a small extra cost (€2 I think). I was leaving early my last morning before breakfast was served so requested a breakfast box to go, croissants and fruit.

I arrived at the hotel on 20 November 2022 for a 5 night stay. The stay was business related and with so many hotels to choose from, I decided to go with the Porto Palacio. What an excellent choice! The hotel is absolutely brilliant - I cannot find a fault. Check-in was very smooth and on arrival to the room - wow - very modern, crisp clean sheets on the bed and a spacious room. In terms of food, the Breakfast experience was the best part of the stay for me. I have stayed in many hotels around the world - both on a personal basis and a business basis - I can honestly say that the breakfast staff at the Porto Palacio are the best I've ever come across. On arrival, I was seated quickly. On Day 1, the staff members memorised what I had that cannot be chosen by the buffet - for example, a tea and two plates (as I like two plates) - on Days 2 and for the rest of the trip, I didn't even need to ask. I was called by my Title and Surname on arrival. The whole experience was brilliant. I would like to mention a lady called Rosa and another lady (they both greet staff members at the door) - their hospitality skills are great and they are always smiling - nothing is too much for them. I didn't eat at the restaurant in the evening but had room service as personally, I like to relax after a day at the office. The food was of good quality and was tasty and piping hot. I used the gym during my stay - the gym is open to members of the public, therefore is not your usual hotel gym. It's huge - there are loads of machines and I was never waiting for someone to finish using something. Staff members are friendly. All in all - a brilliant stay and is a genuine 5 star hotel! I will return to the Porto Palacio both on a business basis and also on a personal basis - Porto looks like a great city! It's a shame that I didn't have time to look around as I had a busy schedule but I will certainly be back! Thank you!!

Stayed four night as a base for Porto centre. Would give it 3.5 if possible to use halfs. Rooms were clean although showing signs of wear. Bed made up daily and fresh towels. Lack of shelf space in cupboard. Used for breakfast once but also tried the Mitica Inspiracao out of the back door twice for a more relaxed setting and no temptation to overfill v the buffet. Shower has good temperature and flow. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Nearby supermarket for anything you need. The bus from the airport took 50 mins during the morning midweek, and initially goes away from the hotel before heading back towards it. If I was doing it again I would take the Metro to Ramalde the nearest stop and then get an Uber to the hotel. The airport Metro is just behind the road at arrivals. Bus 304 seemed the quicker bus than the 300 or 301 into town. Had issues with bus reliability getting back from town after 8pm using information from route planner on Google maps .. chasing round various bus stops near the Town Hall Square to no avail. Ended up prefering to get the Metro back to Ramalde and then €3 for an Uber. Opted to use luggage lockers at Trindade Metro, €6 small for upto 12 hours rather than detour back to the hotel on the last day. Other sizes available but limited availability.

Klassisches Businesshotel mit schönen Zimmern, sehr freundlichem Personal (Concierge, Rezeption, Servicepersonal), gutes WLAN und für mich überraschend gutes Mittagsbuffet. Zum Frühstück gibt es eine große Auswahl, mit dem Taxi ist man in knapp 10 Minuten in der Altstadt. Wer schwimmen will, kann dies entweder im hoteleigenen Hallenbad oder im Außenpool, der sich im 15. Stock (inkl. Bar) befindet.

Yes it’s out of town. If this is no great for you, pay the extra and go to the centre. Look on a map, it’s not difficult! It suited us down to the ground, the few bars etc around are truly for the Portuguese and not the tourist. There is a Metro a short walk away, then you can travel anywhere. Great breakfast, likes the Turkish bath etc and the pool is fun albeit too small to do lengths. Good value for money, would stay here again.

Das Hotel liegt etwa 20 Minuten von Porto entfernt. Gut mit dem Bus nahe der Tür kommuniziert und perfekt, wenn Sie ins Auto gehen. Die Reinigung ist außergewöhnlich, sowohl in den Zimmern als auch in den übrigen Wohnräumen. Die Bettwäsche (Handtücher und Bettwäsche) von sehr guter Qualität. Fantastisch, dass Sie in dem Zimmer Klimaanlage haben. Alle sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter jederzeit und die Lösung unserer Konsultationen immer mit einem Lächeln (Floor, Rezeption, Buffet) Das richtige Frühstück. Ein großer Detail, ein Skizz an die portugiesische Gastronomie mit Krebstiere anbieten. Der geschlossene und kostenlose Parkplatz ist auch ein Plus zu schätzen. Ich möchte mich für die Verwaltung der Firma und für das Personal beglückwünschen, das es ermöglicht. Es wird all die Arbeit, die hinter uns liegt, um die Kunden so gut zu fühlen, bemerkt. ¡ Glückwunsch, Ausrüstung!

Sauberes modernes und günstiges Hotel in 10 Minuten Fußweg oder 3,5€ Uber Fahrt zum Flughafen Porto. Ganz bequem, um von dort abzufliegen. Was mir persönlich in dem Hotel gefehlt hat, waren zwei Dinge: 1) Toilettenbürste 😆 und 2) Wasserkocher, um Kaffee oder Tee zu trinken. Frühstücken konnten wir nicht, weil unser Abflug um 06:55 Uhr war. Daher Wasserkocher wäre perfekt.
