Villa Giardino Heritage Boutique Hotel Bol

From the moment you walk through the gates, you’re greeted by beautifully landscaped gardens that immediately create a sense of calm. We received the warmest welcome from the staff, setting the tone for what turned out to be a perfect stay. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had incredibly comfortable beds. The shower deserves a special mention – quite possibly the best hotel shower I’ve ever experienced! The rooms are also exceptionally well soundproofed, so once you’re inside, it’s wonderfully peaceful, ensuring a fantastic night’s sleep. The location is ideal. It’s just a couple of minutes’ stroll to the harbour, bars, restaurants, and the water taxi to Zlatni Rat Beach. If you prefer to walk, it’s around 30 minutes along the beautiful coastal path. This end of Bol feels a little quieter than the centre, making it perfect if you’re looking to escape the crowds and enjoy a more relaxed pace. Breakfast is served on a beautiful sheltered terrace with plenty of choice. There are delicious homemade cakes (the banana bread is an absolute must!), along with freshly cooked eggs prepared however you like them. The real highlight, however, was the hospitality. Every single member of staff was genuinely warm, friendly, and welcoming. A special mention has to go to Nick, who consistently went above and beyond throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his attention to detail is second to none. As a travel agent, I’ve stayed in countless hotels over the years, and Villa Giardino is genuinely one of the best. In my opinion, it deserves a well-earned 10/10. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would simply be the addition of a swimming pool—but the great news is that one is already being built and is due to open early next year. Staying a week at the Villa Giardino felt like being royalty and being with family at the same time. Everyone made us feel pampered and welcome. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with many options available including eggs made to our liking. Eating at a beautiful green terrace made everything taste even better. The facilities were spotless clean and wifi in the room was very stable. The recently reconstructed Superior room was very nice and comfortable. Nick, the hotel manager, provided many useful local tips and even packed us snacks for the journey on our last morning there. We will definitely stay at Villa Giardino again if we come back to Bol again.

Villa Giardino was so lovely. The staff were so helpful and kind (even though they need more help). The place is quaint and the breakfast was so delicious. I had the best bacon ever! We would love to stay there again!

What a beautiful oasis 2 min from the main drag of Bol! On arrival we were buzzed into the gated property and entered a lush garden. We were then greeted with fresh juice while Nick oriented us to the property and gave thorough recommendations for our time in Bol. The rooms were stately, immaculate, and spacious. Our room looked out onto the gorgeous garden with the Adriatic visible behind. The shower had wonderful pressure. The provided breakfast was delicious - coffee, fruit, yogurt, granolas, homemade cakes and made-to-order pancakes, eggs, bacon, cheese plates. The property is close to all the main sites/beaches of Bol but maintains privacy and quiet away from the parties and clamor of sailing yachts in the marina. Would definitely recommend Villa Giardino!

We were so relaxed, had a lovely 5nights there. Beautiful gardens and breakfast terrace, large room and big bathroom. A few minutes walk from the sea, shops and bars, very quiet in the hotel though. The breakfast was great, choice of freshly cooked breakfast, fruit, cereal etc but the best bit for us being gluten free, was that there was a selection of gf home baked cakes, gf pancakes, as well as bread. We will be back :)
