Ein Hotel mit wunderschöner gepflegter Gartenanlage, Zimmer war sauber. Ansonsten wirkt es sehr altbacken und etwas antiquiert. Service könnte deutlich besser sein, wenn er im Barbereich überhaupt vorhanden ist. Sterne Restaurant kulinarisch fein, jedoch sehr ungemütlich und steif.

Traumhafter Ort, in dem man wunderbar von sympathischen Menschen umsorgt wird, man fühlt sich fast wie in einem kleinen Paradies, in das nur wenig Lärm von außen dringt. Höhepunkt war der Restaurantbesuch in tollem Ambiente.

We loved the food, the service, the attention to detail. Given it was a little chilly outside, the staff took great care in ensuing the fireplace was lit at all times in the living room of the main building. Music choice in living room and restaurant was perfect. Nice history and fact the place is owned by same family for three generations. Ideally located in the vicinity of Sancerre, Fontainebleau and Paris/CDG.

The hotel grounds were lovely to walk around. The room was perfect - large, well equiped, quiet, and comfortable. The hotel staff members were all very pleasant and most helpfull at all times. The restaurant was first class with a good wine list, prompt service and excellent food - it could not be faulted. If nearby again we would definitely return to this hotel.

This is not a 5 star hotel and not what you would expect from a R&C. Our room was tired, shabby and had a bad musty smell. Such a shame as the gardens are beautiful and the food is excellent with a very talented chef. Serious investment needed to restore this place to its former glory.
