So disappointed after writing a review on ******* that we decided to come here. The response to our review which was not overly critical (but did lay out some problems) was met with nothing short of hostility and sarcasm. We recommended a second story room because 1st floor has no outside seating. The laundry service was great. We were not happy that the a/c didn’t go below 24c. we never asked for 17c. The kitchen was lacking in a few basic amenities yet we are told they were all there during the morning check of the room? So I guess someone snuck into the room and removed items before we checked in. We were accused of calling 20 times in 3 days which is ridiculous and made to look like we were difficult. Let’s see we asked how to light the stove, reported a malfunctioning toilet, asked how the remote worked and asked for toilet paper (major sin apparently). If this is considered 20 times then clearly I owe this disgruntled owner an apology, but I don’t think so. We were in Central America for 83 nights in 32 hotels, all around the same price point, this was by far our most disappointing.
