Siempre que visito Bocas del toro el hotel Selina es la mejor opción, por su ubicación e instalaciones lo hacen la mejor experiencia en hospedajes. Sin duda alguna me quedare en Selina para seguir disfrutando de su mágico concepto

This is an ideal place to stay for Filthy Friday. The ticketing office is just across the street, and the party starts and ends at Selina. It gets pretty quiet on weekdays though, so this might not be the best place to stay if you're looking to party all week. There are cheaper places to stay in Bocas Town, but you do get what you pay for. Dorms have AC, and they keep em on all day. Beds were real comfy. The location is great, everything you'll ever need is nearby. Tours can easily be booked onsite, though there are cheaper options right outside. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, perfect for those who are working remotely. The onsite restaurant serves good food. I loved the cinema room-- it's a great place to chill. I'd stay here again if I ever go back to Bocas.

The hotel has a nice location to get to discover Bocas and go out for short or long tours to the islands and their attractions. The breakfasts are delicious but some options are small portions and not worth eating. For a Selina one would expect a higher standard of service, but their staff makes no effort to meet it, they do the minimum to barely get the job done, their guest service is basic and their hospitality needs to be developed a lot. The rooms need a lot of "love" to be up to the standard of a Selina: maintenance, security and comfort are things they lack. The few windows do not close well, there is little space and comfort in the bathroom to have your clothes hung up or to change clothes, the doors of the rooms are rusty, the floors always look dirty and full of dust and dirt, the plants are dirty, dead or very dry, the decoration is not something that helps to give a cozy feel. It is difficult to detail who is a Selina collaborator because they show indifference and since they do not have a uniform or a badge it is impossible to know who to ask for help. The last night we had to suffer from a Jewish party and there was no one to tell us that there was going to be a lot of noise and much less was there anyone to help us asking for respect and silence for the other guests for that noisy group of Jews who thought they were the only ones in the hotel. If you are looking to spend days and nights partying, Selina Bocas del Toro is for you, if you are looking to just sleep and go every day to the tours in the other islands, Selina Bocas del Toro is for you, but if you need comfort, services, hospitality, attention and tranquility, Selina Bocas del Toro is not for you.

I stayed for one night and they charged me a second one for not doing the check out at 11am sharp. Also, I booked a boat with them. 25 minutes before it left, they told me it was leaving 15 minutes earlier. I arrived 3 minutes late and it had left without me

Absolutely awful place. Bocas is nasty generally but this was worst hostel I've ever stayed at. The only plus is for those who like to party and have a LOT of money, the bar is jumping loud most nights until very late. Drunks super expensive and the noise is unavoidable. People switch off the air con in the awful dorms.

Have stayed in other Selina hostels in Central America so didn't hesitate to book this Selina in Bocas. Wow, not even in the same category as others. Booked a bed in female dorm online, non refundable. I just needed a one night stay before heading back to Costa Rica. I decided after 5 weeks of travel and dorms I would treat myself to a small private room. I took a quick look of room photos on website before upgrading. They happily took my $188 (Cad). This was at 2 pm, room would be ready in 30 mins. I went to use the washroom in the restaurant area, ladies room was in use. I waited a few minutes, door opened. A drunken guy stumbled out ( ladies room). The bathroom garbage was overflowing with dirty toilet paper. It was so gross. After seeing the bathroom I changed my mind about eating there and went elsewhere. When I got to my room I was shocked at the dirty concrete floor and disgusting walls. This place is ridiculously over priced. I have stayed in worse places but never have I paid so much money. Joke is on me.
