"My family and I rented out three of the cottages and we loved it. Our experience was great. I only had one issue when we called with a question about something and we had to wait for a call back to get an answer but we never got a call. Other than that our experience there was wonderful, we had access to Blanco State Park so we spent our day fishing and swimming and ended our day barbecuing outside the cottages and we ate dinner on the outdoor patio set, I would highly recommend the cottages. We will definitely plan family trips there again."

Walden Retreats Hill Country

"We spent a few nights here in April 2024. We usually take 10 days and go to Europe in April but this year we had to stay close to home. I found this last minute and it was a nice time. Staff is very friendly. We were the only people on the resort one night but even the nights when there were other people it was peaceful. We got one of the tents with the outdoor tub. It was great sitting in it and looking at the stars. The clawfoot tub was luxury. My husband loved cooking with their cast iron. We walked down to the river. We brought all of our food with us and never left once we got there. It was exactly what we needed. No, it wasn't a fancy vacation, but it was calm, lowkey and relaxing. We would not hesitate coming back in the spring or winter. I am not sure I would want to be there in the heat of Texas summer even with the mini splits. Thank you, Walden owners and staff, for a respite from our daily lives."

The Hotel Henry

"Das Hotel Henry sah gut aus, so dass wir es ausprobieren. Es war eine gute Wahl. Das Zimmer war geräumig (Königzimmer mit separatem Wohnzimmer) und unverschämt sauber. Das Bett war sehr hoch (wenn Sie Mobilitätsprobleme haben) aber sehr komfortabel, und das Hotel war ruhig trotz weniger als einem Block von Hwy 281. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und hilfreich. Die Vibe ist zurückgelegt... fast AirBnB-ish. Niemand war auf dem Vordertafel, als wir da waren, aber es war ein Hinweis mit meinem Namen auf dem Anzeige mit dem Zimmerschlüssel (eine tatsächliche Schlüssel... nicht eine Schlüsselkarte). Als wir später den Vorderbüro-Agent sahen, fragte sie, ob wir irgendwelche Probleme hatten oder was nötig gewesen wäre. Nein... alles war gut! Es gibt ein kleines Menü für Lebensmittel, einschließlich Frühstück, aber wir haben nicht dort gegessen, so dass ich nicht kommentieren kann. Wenn wir noch ein Hotel in Blanco brauchen, wäre ich froh, hier wieder zu bleiben. Freut mich mit unserem Besuch."
