Caladonian 3 night /4 day trip just returned today. There was four of us, a couple and older two family members using wheelchairs. This review is based on what we payed and what was offered, and we all agreed it was excellent. Warm, wellcoming, very clean, fun entertainment, good food was offered, really good breakfast, hot evening meals, plenty of tea, coffee, water with meals. Four free drinks each evening. We don't know how they make a profit. Yes the bedrooms are a bit tired looking but very clean, good hospitality tray with tea, coffee and biscuits. Hotel is in the quieter area just past the pleasure beach but there is a tram stop about 2 minutes away and we managed very well with two wheelchairs on them, really easy. We think the outstanding part of the stay was all the staff we met, so friendly, helpful and welcoming which transferred to the atmosphere with all the guests. We had fun and will certainly return. Stayed a week on a pre-booked bus excursion. Hotel perfectly adequate, rooms very good, bathroom good. Very clean. Staff were exceptional at all times, especially manager Lauren. They catered to all needs, even with some 'difficult' customers. Breakfast and evening meals very good, lots of choice and quality food. Entertainment great. Nothing was too much. Superb value for money and excellent service all round. Well done Laurel and your team.

Lift kept sticking, doors would squeek and stick , Evening meal always soup starter no alternative..Not much choice for mains.Either main meal or salad.Desert one night was swiss roll with custard poured on it.Entertainment two nights good two nights rubbish.Staff were thin on ground to ask anything no desk manned.It was not well run and its a fair way out of Blackpool centre too.I would never return to this hotel and would not reccomend it.

Fantastic place to stay. Staff so accommodating and friendly, lovely atmosphere and very child friendly. My son is autistic and all of the staff were fantastic with him. Rooms a little dated but extremely clean and beds are very comfortable. Food delicious! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again. We travelled with Acklams, who's driver Ollie was fantastic also.

Have to say one of the best hotels I've been to in Blackpool cracking place staff amazing Lauren the manager couldn't do enough for you some cook too her cottage pie was amazing 👌 all the staff were great dead friendly Hailey too forgot to ask other names lol will be back very soon

Two night stay did not like anything about this hotel.Our room was dirty and dropping to bits,cobwebs,holes in towels,window rusty and black,radiator rusty and wallpaper torn.The food was tasteless and the dining room very cramped.Would not go again even if it was free......

the food was absolutely amazing, the service was fantastic, and the staff go above and beyond nothing is to much for them. the entertainment was brilliant and it was a awesome atmosphere in the bar. well done silversands change nothing 👏 👍

Polite lady on reception room small size and on top floor but clean and good size towels the only disappointment is it's a far distance to amilities shops cafes town center close to beach clean and good friendly staff safe good security. Good size bath and shower not a nice view though excellent value for money would come again if in the area
