Below average hotel. Checked in. Hall-ways smelled like paint. The head boards had been removed and the holes where the screws were removed were not filled with drywall putty. Room did not have bar soap or shampoo. Had to go to front desk. Room smelled. They need to use o-zone to clean up room. Painting was done poorly between ceiling and wall. Took a shower next morning and tub did not drain. Reported to front desk and it was fixed. Went to fill ice. Machines on the ice were all empty. Management should purchase ice for Talladegha weekend. Real nice lobby.

Please ensure to check your bill - I had a stay from 6/19-6/21 but did not arrive until just past midnight on 6/20. However, the staff allowed someone to charge $74.13 worth of liquor charges to my room (which included a $20 tip). When I received the bill via email - I immediately tried to call but their phone systems were down throughout the weekend. I was finally able to reach the adjoining Home 2 Suites and was told “they were having all sorts of issues with billing and even checking people out” and I was told my bill would be corrected. This was after I opened a case with Hilton Honors. I was NEVER contacted by Hilton nor the property by Monday, so I called the property back. I explained the situation and was told they pulled the receipts that had “my signature” on them and that they had contacted me and closed the case already. After informing them that was impossible and that they needed to view their security footage - I was transferred to accounting - who obviously didn’t answer their phone. I am now back on the phone with Hilton trying to get this resolved- someone is not doing their job(s) at the Hilton Garden Inn in Downtown Birmingham to safeguard your personal information. I will not be back

Das Bett war etwas zu weich, aber das Zimmer war großartig anders als das. Das warme Frühstück war auch großartig und hatte mehrere Optionen. Wir würden sicher noch einmal hier bleiben!

Return visit as it was a great experience last time we were in Birmingham. Every detail is thought of to make for a comfortable stay. Quiet, tasteful, clean and fun rooms to experience. Love this updated century-old home of many cool rooms. Stocked like a hotel. Even bathrobes and hair driers. Within walking distance to great restaurants, shopping and places to drink. Found some live music within blocks. So many things to do in lovely Birmingham. Highly recommend the Civil Rights Trail for sure. Parking is on site and free.

Das war mein viertes Aufenthalt mit Homewood Suites in der Nähe von UAB. Und wie alle anderen Zeiten war es erstaunlich! Als ich ins Haus ging, um zu prüfen, erkannte die junge Dame mich von meinem letzten Besuch wirklich an und erinnerte mich an meine Hilton Honors, die ich vergessen hatte, und gab mir einen Komplimentarbeutel mit 2 Flaschen Wasser und Behandlungen! Sehr willkommen! Das komplimentäre Frühstück war phänomenal! So viele verschiedene Artikel auswählen zu können! Die junge Dame über das Frühstücksgebiet kam bei meinem Tisch, um sicherzustellen, dass alles ok war. Wir sprachen über meine Reise. Sehr freundlich und nett zu mir und anderen Gästen. Sie haben sogar eine Rezeption eines Managers während der Abende (leider konnte ich nicht anwesend sein) Als ich auscheckte, tracy hielt mich mit einem Lächeln und fragte, ob alles meiner Liebe war, was ich antwortete Ja! Ich genieße immer meinen Aufenthalt mit Homewood! Das ist wahr, die Zimmer und Aussichten sind spektakulär! Miene war ein Königsbett mit einem Sofa, das wir in ein gutes Bett gehen. Geräumige Badezimmerbereich, und eine Küche voll ausgestattet mit einem Zähler Top-Stof, Mikrowelle, gute Größe Kühlschrank, Kaffee-/Teehersteller, Gerichte, Kisten und Pans sogar eine Gepäckabfertigung. Homewood in der Nähe von UAB ist definitiv mein Platz gehen, mein Haus weg von. Ich empfehle Homewood für jeden, während er in der Stadt bleiben wird. Das Personalteam ist A+

Great location not too far from the major freeways and close to eateries. I could park my U-Haul in the back near the pool and didn't have to worry about anyone messing with my car. The staff was friendly the only drawback was the bathroom wasn't cleaned upon checking into the room. The toilet was not flushed and there was hair on one of my towels that was hung up.
