Hotel Sonajhurir Adda - Shantiniketan

Property was not cleaned well. Lizards are in the washroom, insects are in the room. No cleanliness in the swimming pool as well. There is no changing room and shower attached with the pool. Rooms have damps, bad smell coming from the room and washroom. Housekeeping service is very slow. Room Service is very poor, it took 1.25 hours to deliver the fish kebab to the room. The restaurant is very unhygienic. Full of bees in the restaurant, you can't eat peacefully due to bees. The entry road is very poor. They don't have any channels on TV, it is just a dummy. Washroom taps are not working properly. Moreover very poor management.

Location was excellent on the bank of river Kopai - very close to the nature , food was very good and tasty. We reached very late at 1.00 AM, but the caretaker was there to receive us and ensured our smooth allotment of room and good freshly cooked food. Though our stay was very short we enjoyed the amenities and services very much and looking forward to visiting the place again.

Location, accommodation, food, staff behaviour, all the amenities and services excellent. We stayed there for 3 nights with complementary breakfast at one of the villa's ground floor rooms. Most of the foods found to be tasty but little bit expensive. Location and atmosphere is amazingly good. High speed wi-fi and 43 inches smart tv found to be icing on the cake. Overall excellent property and so far the best in shantinekatan. Special thanks to manager mr. Sushant and mr. Shamim from the restaurant for their great hospitality. Looking forward to seeing you again in the near future definitely.
