At check in my card was denied. (The desk guy said it loud enough for anyone in earshot to hear.) A week earlier I had been a fraud victim and the new card they issued was being used. I called Chase to ask what had happened and they told me that whoever swiped the card didnt use the appropriate code and that was behind the denial. Its not necessary for the front desk to call out something like this in front of other guests. Since its a holiday they suspended all housekeeping. Silly, because its a hotel with holiday guests. The rooms are shabby, the comforter was dirty and unbelievably I ran out of toilet paper which of course has to be requested at the front desk. This is not a motel…doesn’t housekeeping make sure there is a supply of toilet paper ? Finally the streaming service for youtube,netflix etc was out. Both of the front desk people told me they couldnt help it..sorry. I am a long time Marriott frequent customer. They should take the logo off the front of this hotel.
