"Wir blieben am Sailor’s Rest für 2 Nächte Ende August und fanden es angesichts der Jahreszeit gut wert. Wir konnten uns ohne Probleme kostenlos direkt auf der Straße parken. Check-in war einfach – Die Anweisungen waren klar und wir kamen in das Gebäude und sammelten unseren Schlüssel leicht aus dem sicheren Schlüsselbox. Unser Zimmer (Nr. 6) war im Oberraum. Es war gemütlich, sauber und schön und ruhig. Keine Aussicht aus dem Schlafzimmer selbst, da es nur Schaumlicht hatte, aber das Badezimmer hatte eine wunderschöne Meerblick. Die Nespresso-Maschine und Kühlschrank waren schöne Zusätze. Wir bezahlten ein wenig mehr, um das Frühstück enthalten, was bedeutete, die Straße nach König George zu gehen. Einige frühere Bewerter schienen das als eine Nebenwirkung zu sehen, aber wir genossen tatsächlich die kurze Wanderung jeden Morgen, auch in den Regen eines Tages. Frühstück war absolut lecker und definitiv wert. Insgesamt, ein wirklich komfortabler Aufenthalt und irgendwo würden wir glücklich wieder reservieren, wenn jemals in der Gegend."

"Recently enjoyed a fabulous three night stay at the Seagate and will certainly be staying again. The room was excellent as was the view ,room had everything you could possibly need from hairdryer,iron and ironing board to a beautiful basket of snacks should you get the midnight munchies. Had a small issue with the shower that was fixed by the time we arrived back from our day out even though we had insisted it was fine for us and they could leave it until we'd checked out great service! Staff were all lovely from housekeeping to front of house,bar staff ect . Special mention to Chris and Tom at checkout."

"Lovely B&B on quiet country lane, a few minutes walk from the SW Coast path. Caroline and Colin were very welcoming hosts and cooked us a delicious breakfast (best pancakes I’ve had). The room was spacious, with comfy beds and views out over the churchyard. Homemade cake in the room on arrival was a nice touch as well. Short walk to good restaurants (we had a decent meal at the Boathouse). Looking forward to returning next year to pick up the path again. Thanks so much for a lovely stay."

"Lovely friendly, locals pub. We ordered a couple of baguettes for lunch and they were huge and very delicious and fresh. Reasonably priced too. The bar staff and chef were really nice and chatty. We sat in the little garden which is a real sun trap."
