Seaspray Rooms

A wonderful place to stay. Great location for the seafront and the De La Warr pavilion. Very friendly and helpful team. Our room was on the top floor, was spacious, with a sea view, comfy bed and good bathroom. Sound insulation was good, it was very quiet in the room. We had an evening meal and breakfast - food was good. Would recommend.

Be careful of what you book. I had a top floor room with a view. I stayed once before and had a room with hardly any window and what there was was onto a tiny gully. Here’s the thing. It’s modern and comfy but the drawbacks are there. Each floor has its own CH thermostat. The **** on my floor turned it to zero and I froze all night. Didn’t think just to turn the radiators off in own room. When I told the staff they just didn’t care. Amazing. AND if you happen to be the only guest they won’t bother to cook - just send a box worthy of Travel Lodge to your room. The position is great. Right on the seafront. Lots of stairs to climb. They won’t help with the cases unless you ask/beg. That’s my experience. I’m 76. Never again. I’d rather go to the Premier Inn in Hastings and get a cab. Half the price there.

The room had no outside windows. Totally unacceptable. Comment of the hotel: you won’t notice if you are asleep. Again, not acceptable. If you want a window, make sure you are not in room 6. In the end, I booked another hotel and still had to pay. Third time: unacceptable.

lovely stay 8th june at seaspray rooms. we had room 8 on the top floor with partial sea view which was still good. room is a good size, lots of room move about. bed was comfy enough. bathroom moderm with a lovely walk in shower. An a extra loo roll would have beem nice tho not just one 😁..tea and coffee with posh cup and saucer. staff very welcoming upon arrival explaining where the room was, on the top.flooe, lots of stairs but lovely and decorative on the way up Breakfast sheets explained left outside the door, breakfast provided im the bar next morning was lovely a great little find, if i need to visit Bexhill again will deffo seek out this little gem of a place. value for money it is thankyou for a nice stay 😁

Great place to stay. Everything was perfect and it went above and beyond expectations. Great value. Clean room. Many amenities and they have really gone the extra mile to make the stay a good experience. I would stay again. Really good access to the beach and Delawarr pavilion. Even better that’s it’s above a resteraunt and bar.

We stayed here recently and have to say would not be back in a hurry. Really rude girl who when we turned up early said we could not check in until 3pm, which is fine as apparently the room was being cleaned, well if it was then they missed all the dust on various surfaces. We were then told in the evening when having a drink that last orders were 8.30, this happened a few nights, but their hours clearly show open until 11pm, so guess they just wanted an early night and couldn't be bothered with customers. There is no headboard on the bed, the bathroom has no where to put anything, the light in the hall is on most of the night, which shines into the room under the big gap at the bottom 8f the door. Standard lamp without a shade, chandelier with bulbs missing and not working, this is not boutique! Breakfast was rushed and they wanted to know what time we would be down and then cleared up instantly we had finished, no lazing around here! Very limited cooked breakfasts with no cereal or juice offered.
