Glan Aber Hotel

Went for a well deserved break. Stay for 2 with bed and breakfast, private spa appointment and evening meal included in our gift package bought through Groupon. The staff were so friendly and helpful, family run. Dog friendly too. The rooms are clean and spacious with an ensuit shower room. Access to the Spa room on the first floor for us was across the landing from our room. Lift up to 1st and 2nd floor as well as stairs. Lift was required as I have walking disability. Our evening meal was delicious, the local brewery ale was very nice indeed. Breakfast the following morning was a pre-booked time slot. We had lots to choose from pastries, crumpets, toast, yoghurts, fresh fruit, fresh fruit juices, fresh coffee "Litchfield coffee", assessment of tea. Full Welsh cooked breakfast or Vegetarian breakfast. Lovely views, the village green, cafés and railway just a walk away.

We stayed here for two nights on a groupon deal. Fantastic value for money. Our deal included a one course dinner - our first night was a Sunday and we had a Sunday lunch in the evening - my partner had beef and I had turkey - it came with so many vegetables all cooked to perfection and HUGE portions. The breakfast the following day was brilliant too, with lots of choice, generous portions and again perfectly cooked. Our room was comfortable, with every amenity, and huge bath towels, we also had an hour in the private jacuzzi which was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay, went to the forest coaster, bodnant gardens and Conway- all easy to get to from the hotel . There is a lovely atmosphere in the hotel, the staff are all so friendly, and couldn’t do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Free parking too. This is the fourth time I have stayed here, and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Stayed for two nights-superb customer service. We felt very welcome. Great bar (great range of drinks) and food in restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Spa was a nice edition. The location is great for exploring. Will definitely return.

Had an amazing 2 night stay, The staff and management go out there way to make you welcome, lovely typical Welsh hotel easy access for any adventure in the local area . Fabulous Sunday roast, great breakfast menu, the hot tub was very welcome rest .

Stayed here recently. Firstly the good points:- tasty evening meal, friendly staff, very nice cooked breakfast, nice sauna very central location to visit the waterfalls and town, nice hot shower, free parking. Bad points :- walls are very thin so if like us you have very rowdy people next door until the early hours then it could be an issue, view from our room was a dumping ground, shower curtain was mouldy and the mattress was not really upto standard being one of those cheap ones where the springs don't really support you.room had a few cobwebs.

I get that it's aimed at hikers, but come on-dust, old food, and mouse crap in the corners? Even student accom aren't this bad. And the door lock falling off every time we opened it? I spent 30 minutes just trying to get to the toilet, but for the memories of the trip and the laugh it was worth being trapped in our box. Overall, the loud car park, thin walls, and flat pillows for £47 were well worth it. Had a great sleep.
