Fantastic accommodation in a funky area of Berlin. Very clean and contemporary. All essentials at hand. Would highly recommend. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants plus you are close to the train station. We managed to explore mitte as well as the local area.

I was a little apprehensive initially booking this hotel knowing that there were no reception staff on site and check in and access was all digital. I needn't have worried though. On-line check in was easy and I received my access information and codes the day before arrival. The hotel is quite easy to find despite there being no huge signs outside. It's a big old building situated through a set of gates in a courtyard. It is a bit daunting on first arrival as the corridors all look the same and it's very quiet. Locating the room was reasonably easy and the digital key code worked perfectly. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable and well decorated. There was also complimentary beer, water, soft drinks, crisps. Along with a coffee pod machine and kettle. The shower was perfect and there was fast reliable free wi-fi. I really could not fault this hotel. It's also situated in a busy but comfortable area with plenty of bars and eateries of all descriptions in close proximity. S-bahn and U-bahn are an easy 10 minute stroll and the area felt very safe to walk around, even at 3.00 in the morning. I would definitely stay here the next time I visit Berlin and would recommend it to others.

Everything was really good except one thing. Hotel provides breakfast which you need to chuse using provided link but during my stay none of the chosen breakfast was ever delivered to me. That is only thing that disappointed. Someone may be confused with whole digital and no reception.

After our initial panic at the apartment as the payment hadn’t gone through it all ran smoothly The online staff were very helpful and competent there was a small mix up with payment details The sketch apartments are in a good area easy to access underground and all sights Our room was an intimate double it was a good sized room , very clean, large double bed, we had coffee tea milk in our room and could help ourselves to more from the laundry room along with fresh towels Although the rooms are not serviced whilst you are there it really isn’t a problem and the cleaning staff for change overs are pleasant and helpful We didn’t use our hob or cook in our room There is a wide choice of restaurants bars and cafes in the area We felt safe at all times The key code access works well The bonus of having free large lockers to store luggage up to 8 pm on the day you leave was great. The decoration is grey and black which is a bit dowdy The corridors are bare walls no character All residents seem to respect noise rules with exception of Saturday night
