Have to give this hotel five stars. It ticks all the boxes. Well appointed room with windows that open to allow fresh air into the room. Seperate toilet and shower. Climate control and a fridge. Room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The icing on the cake was the very friendly and helpful staff.

Das Hotel ist sehr zufrieden und eignet sich sehr gut für selbstfahrende Touren. Wir haben gerade ein Auto gemietet und es auf die andere Seite der Windmühle der Kinder gefahren. Das Frühstück war nicht im Zimmerpreis enthalten, aber ich wusste nicht, wie ich uns zwei Frühstücke schicken sollte, die auch sehr lecker waren. Obwohl die Hoteleinrichtungen alt sind, ist die Gesundheit ausgezeichnet und die Umgebung ist auch sehr gut

Unfortunately, we were not lucky to encounter the right reception staff. At our arrival we were not even greeted. We had to attract the attention of the reception staff to be able to check in. Interesting approach, especially if the person is standing right in front of you. 10 minutes after check in I approached the reception for a question and the same woman asked: ”Are you checking out?” The rooms were very cold and there was no heating in the rooms, even with 11 degrees outside. We were told by the reception that the heating turns on automatically when the temperature outside reaches 20 degrees or lower. It did not happen. Breakfast: poor variety. No milk in the coffee machine and when asked staff instead of providing tell you: ”Just use the creamer.” If you ask for a yoghurt you are told they don't have any and you see them taking the same product to selected guests. Also, at our checkout not even a thank you and not even a goodbye. We've been in other Bastion hotels and all were great, with polite and friendly staff, service oriented and a regular breakfast service. And let's not forget the heating. So this hotel is an exception to the rule. Barendrecht is nice but the wrong hotel if you want to feel like you're a little bit respected. I hope this helps next travellers not to get in the same situation.

Das Hotel ist verkehrsgünstig gelegen, man ist direkt auf der Autobahn und trotzdem ist es ruhig. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig ausgestattet, kommen aber in die Jahre. Etwas frische Farbe und eine leichte Renovierung wären nötig. Mir haben die zwei kleinen Einzelbetten nicht gefallen, ein Doppelbett ist bequemer und eigentlich standard in Van der Falk Häusern. Hier hinkt dieses Hotel etwas hinterher. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut und preiswert, gute Bierauswahl in der Bar. Frühstück ist auch gut wenn auch nicht so umfangreich wie in anderen Häusern.

Ich bin hier 9/10 Zeiten, wenn ich in Rotterdam bin. Das ist etwa 1 Woche pro Monat. Ich mag die Lage des Hotels, da es in der Innenstadt ist, in der Nähe des Büros gehe ich hin, die Restaurants usw. Personal ist freundlich, Hotel ist sauber, Zimmer sind gut, Blick ist erstaunlich. Die Rezeption kann oft sehr langsam sein. Ich habe nie eine Kontrolle erfahren usw. Das geht so langsam. Keine Ahnung, ob es ihr Computersystem ist oder was, aber manchmal können Sie sehr lange im Line bleiben. Das ist das einzige Mini.

Wie Sie dem Namen entnehmen können, ist es hauptsächlich für Studenten gedacht, ich meine, es würde sie besser feuern. Um ehrlich zu sein, ich habe schon ein bisschen höhere Standards, denke ich. Aber es war ein guter Preis und man bekommt guten Platz dafür. Es gab ein Problem mit der Toilette in unserem Zimmer, aber es hat uns nicht wirklich gestört

After stay at the Copenhagen CityHub I thought why not give this Rotterdam one a go as my experience before was great. Well firstly my god it was noisy, I had requested a quiet pod in the hotel as I'm a very light sleeper (even with earplugs in and pillow overhead lol) . So I was placed near the toilets/showers.... Ding ding ding alarms should have been going off then as the amount of banging those toilets/showers doors and the thumping of the people who sounded like they was thumping past all the pods (request a top pod in future). With ear plugs I was woken up early by other pod users who didn't have a care about anybody else who would have even been asleep as long as the could have a chat in the hall ways as loud as possible. So if you are going out and getting drunk this hotel is perfect for you but if you are on a sightseeing trip and wanting a early night we'll best of luck with that. None of my USB chargers were working in my pod but luckily I had brought a plug with more than 1 socket on it for charging. You get what you pay here and for a single person it's the cheapest option in the city. Lockers are huge and fitted my large suitcase in very easily. Staff very helpful as usual especially the American guy. Would I stay again, I'm afraid I wouldn't at this one as far too noisy for me. Maybe big groups shouldn't be all put on same floor and then they can meet in area downstairs and chat as loud as possible as they want at any time that suits them.

Schließlich hat Gorinchem ein hervorragendes Hotel, mein erstes Aufenthalt im neu geöffneten Hotel war ausgezeichnet, der beeindruckende Eingang und Lobby, führt zu einem sehr schönen Restaurant und oder Bar, beide sind sehr komfortabel. Das Zimmer war wie erwartet, sehr komfortabel, ruhig an hatte alles, was ich brauchte und alle Mitarbeiter, die ich traf, waren hilfreich, freundlich und hilfreich, um diesen Aufenthalt zu machen mein 1. von vielen.
