Was für eine wunderbare Woche mit vergnügten Tauchgängen an den Riffen der Beqa-Lagune. Ein ruhiges, entspannendes Resort, wir genossen wunderschöne Zimmer, köstliches fidschianisches Essen und Unterhaltung!! Jeder ist so nett und hilfsbereit. Die Riffe sind UNGLAUBLICH mit den schönsten Weich- und Hartkorallen, Rifffischen, Zittermuscheln, Haien – wow. Wenn Sie nach einem ruhigen, entspannenden Resort suchen, das Ihnen die Riffe und die Kultur Fidschis zeigt, dann ist dies das Richtige.

Ich liebe dieses Resort und werde immer wiederkommen. Alles an unserem Aufenthalt war perfekt. Wir wohnten in einem wunderschönen Bure am Meer (Nr. 12). Das Resortgelände ist atemberaubend und gut gepflegt, der Service des Resortpersonals war hervorragend. Tauchcrew und Boote - ausgezeichnet

Wirklich ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Wir kamen zum Haitauchen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Mein Partner und ich sind schon auf der ganzen Welt mit Haien getaucht. Ich besitze und betreibe ein Haitauch-Charter in Florida und ich muss sagen, ich bin wirklich von allem an diesem Unternehmen beeindruckt, angefangen mit dem Feeder Brandon, wirklich Weltklasse. Seine Sicherheitstaucher sind hochqualifizierte Profis und kümmern sich im Wasser wirklich um Sie. Und die Haie ... das muss eine der besten, wenn nicht DIE beste Hai-Action der Welt sein! Die Haie sind riesig und die Kathedrale ist wunderschön gestaltet, um sie aus nächster Nähe zu erleben. Ich kann gar nicht genug Gutes darüber sagen! Danke Brandon, Sicherheitsteam und Beqa Lagoon!

Die Beqa-Lagune war absolut fantastisch! Das Tauchteam vom Kapitän bis zu jedem einzelnen Tauchlehrer war rücksichtsvoll, freundlich, talentiert und kannte sich aus! Ganz zu schweigen davon, wie schön und unterhaltsam jeder Tauchgang war! Ich kann es kaum erwarten, nächstes Jahr wiederzukommen und wieder zu tauchen! Das Essen und die Getränke waren großartig! Meine Mutter kam mit und genoss alle angebotenen Aktivitäten, die nichts mit Tauchen zu tun hatten. Ihr gefielen die abendlichen Aktivitäten vom Feuerlaufen bis zum Fackelanzünden und Chor! Oh, ganz zu schweigen davon, dass das Spa ein Stück vom Himmel war und die Mitarbeiter die Hände von Engeln hatten. Dies war mit Abstand einer meiner Lieblingsausflüge! Ganz zu schweigen davon, dass das Bure sauber, komfortabel und ein kleines zweites Zuhause war! Jeder Mitarbeiter war fröhlich und freundlich und hat sich übertroffen! Dieser Ort ist wirklich ein Juwel. Wir werden wiederkommen! Ich kann das nächste Jahr kaum erwarten!!

Toller Ort, werde auf jeden Fall wieder hingehen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, nett, zuvorkommend, interaktiv und hilfsbereit. Habe jede Minute genossen. Das Tauchen war großartig, die Tauchlehrer waren super aufmerksam. Das Essen war frisch und lecker. Viele Aktivitäten nach dem Tauchen. War meine dritte Reise mit der Scua Company aus Albuquerque, NM, eine wunderbare Reisegruppe.

Great food, atmosphere and accommodations. The dive masters were superb and the education re sharks etc was great , highly recommended for divers. Beqa is unique and you get a snapshot of Fijian culture that is unforgettable. We will come back and recommend to anyone making the trek

My husband and I just returned from Beqa Lagoon. We had an incredible time. The lights do flicker sometimes but it’s an island in Fiji! If you scuba dive do the shark dive you will be impressed. The people are friendly. The resort is clean and the food is plentiful. Join the activities and learn more about the local culture. Visit the local villages and school. Take a hike to see the waterfalls or paddle board out over the reef. Whatever you do, you can find something to smile about!

If you want a place to go where you will be treated like family, where everyone knows you by name, where you can experience authentic Fijian culture, Beqa Lagoon Resort is the place for you. I cannot name everyone who took care of us, but Filo, Tebuna, Soko, Tusi, Ruca, Selema, Delana, Zack, and Jay made us feel so welcome. I brought my daughter and my husband here for a week, and we were truly sad to leave. They treated my daughter like she was one of their own. The food was incredible every day. The snorkeling in front of the resort was great for my daughter. The diving was some of the best I have experienced. The coral reefs are bright, healthy, and PACKED with a variety of fish. We saw white tipped sharks, nurse sharks, lemon sharks, spotted eagle rays, turtles, octopus, just to name a few. The Cathedral Shark Dive is not to be missed and mind blowing!! The tiger sharks are massive! The dive guides do a great job with safety and making sure the sharks are respected. Their focus is on the shark conservation in which they have a great briefing about it between dives. If given the opportunity with our busy lifestyle, I would definitely love to come back.

Just returned from an unforgettable week of scuba diving at Beqa Lagoon. The trip was relaxing, delicious, fun, enriching—and easily one of my top three vacations of all time. Even the dogs that call Beqa home are some of the most relaxed I’ve ever encountered. It’s rare to experience such genuine, elevated care from every member of a staff—and even rarer to leave a vacation feeling truly melancholy. The dive crew was fantastic throughout the week, and most of the staff greeted me by name each time we crossed paths. We were welcomed with complimentary foot massages from the kind and capable spa team. During the week, I indulged in both hot stone and deep tissue massages. I’ve had many massages over the years, but the deep tissue massage I received from Litia set a whole new standard—hands down, the best I’ve ever had. Meals were served three times daily, with the option of ordering smaller plates from the bar in between. The food was consistently good, and the ultra-fresh ceviche—enjoyed after a “cooking” demonstration led by a few staff members—was a standout. The kava ceremony was a unique and memorable experience as well. I’m already looking forward to the next time I can return and reconnect with my new friends at Beqa Lagoon!

The rooms are beautiful! The food was amazing...and best of all, the diving was stellar. Our group was on the Mako boat and had the best dive masters and captain (Nix, Junior, and Livai). Nix helped me overcome my fear of diving.

I am a Trip Leader and took a total of 22 people on a trip to Beqa Lagoon. Two of our group were non-divers. The cross from mainland to Beqa was a weather challange with high windys and choppy water. The new Cats handled to crossing fine with only a few feeling ill and all getting wet. We lost the first day of diving due to high winds but the resort added a additonal day of diving to make up for the missed dives. Everyone filled their first day with church and hiking, sleeping and relaxing. The rest of the week the winds settled and the diving was good, safe and lots of fun. The shark dive was amazing as always and everyone felt safe. We saw lots of sharks including 4 tigers that cruised in to check us out. These dives not only allow people the opportunity to see the sharks but allows the study of the sharks. The dives are done humanly and after experiancing many of these dives with the groups I bring, I feel they are good for the sharks too, no harm is done to them or their normal natural behaviors. The resort is beautiful and had a lot of activities for all to enjoy. The lagoon offers unlimited diving and snorkeling with the reef shallow enough to let the snorkelers see lots of fish. There is also SUP's and kayaks to use. On land visitors are offered hiking to the schools, villages and cultural activities like dancing, firewalking, coconut cooking, Kava ceremony and singing. The on again off again showers did not interfer with the fun. The staff was extremely fun and helpful making us all feel welcome. The onsight spa offered relaxation and romantic couples massages in a truly tropical setting. The meals offered a variety of choices and my glutton free traveler was offered special rolls that she discribed as the best she has ever had. Thank you Beqa and I will be returning soon!

What a wonderful place to escape the hustle and bustle of life! The staff at the resort and the dive shop were amazing. It felt as if we were being catered to the entire time. Gluten Free food was not a problem. I always had plenty to eat. Can't beat the diving!

Loved Beqa Resort. The diving and snorkeling is the best. The staff is the most accommodating and the lodging is out of an island travel magazine. We have never been to a resort with more pleasant people, from the front desk to the garden staff. The food was very good. The bar was well stocked.

This trip was one of the best decisions I've ever made... possibly life-changing. January is summer is in the southern hemisphere so it was a welcome relief to leave the US winter to warm, tropical surroundings. Despite the jet lag, I spent the majority of that week diving (2 cylinder boat dives plus 1 - 2 shore dives for 5 days or more if I wanted). The dive shop is very professionally managed which is evident from the leadership all the way down to the employees maintaining equipment. Rentals are available however at minimum you'll need a SCUBA regulator and buoyancy compensator device (BCD). The dive shop prioritizes safety and despite the "cathedral" *tiger shark dive(s)... I didn't get a sense of danger since many safeguards were put in place. I had a great time discovering what's been described as an extension of the Great Barrier Reef in this corner of the South Pacific. *NOTE: You can choose to go on more than one shark dive but that will cost extra. It also depends on ad hoc scheduling based on conditions. There's too much to mention but in a nutshell... I ate restaurant quality meals (comparable to good local steakhouses), went swimming in the pool, and enjoyed group activities such as a village tour, seeing fire walkers, fire dancers, live music, and a local choir also sang for our group. There was plenty to do but I also enjoyed doing nothing. The tropical surroundings allow you to lose all track of time. The resort itself is well maintained, the rooms are clean, and entire resort possesses an almost perfect, zen-like environment. In my opinion, the Beqa Lagoon Beach Resort is a gorgeous retreat that's a far better version of home away from home. The Fijians were very gracious, hard working, and accommodating hosts. You get a sense of appreciation knowing that Fijians might be impoverished by US standards but they're extremely grateful for what they have and they're optimistic because they're mainly focused on the present moment.
