Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt gründlich. Service war sehr gut. Parkplatz war eine zusätzliche 550 Yen pro Tag. Frühstück war japanisch, aber gab es einen Bacon und Ei vor jedem Gast mit dem kleinen japanischen Hotpot gekocht. Unser Zimmer mit 3 Erwachsenen war sehr schön mit sauberen modernen Einrichtungen bestehend aus einem Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und einem großartigen Wohnzimmer mit Futon am Abend für das dritte Bett. Sehr schöner Blick auf den Beppu-Turm in unserem Zimmer. Der Außenwärme war vollkommen angenehmen mit Blick auf den Sonnenaufgang und die Beppu Bay. Gotta sei vorsichtig, denn für die Damen könnte jemand in einem Boot am Bay unsere nackten Oberkörper mit Teleskop sehen, wenn wir aufstehen.😅

Der Preis ist günstig, das Zimmer ist besonders klein, weil der gleiche Name neben dem Geschäftshotel ist. Dieser Laden ist um neun Uhr groß, aber teuer. Die Einrichtungen können öffentlich genutzt werden. Die warme Halle ist besonders lobenswert. Es gibt Innenraum und Außenraum. Es wird besonders empfohlen, den Sonnenuntergang abends zu sehen, den Sonnenaufgang morgens zu sehen, die Meeres- und Nachtsicht des Hauses zu sehen, Das Frühstück ist in der Regel eine begrenzte Menge, keine Früchte, Ich muss mit einem Bademantel. Ich muss mit dem Pool im Obergeschoss.

Overall, I felt the hotel was very nicely done with great local touches while still keeping an international atmosphere. I also wanted to point out the great flexibility of the hotel, allowing me to change my meal reservations from 3 dinners at Elements (I was on a package deal) to one at Elements and combining the remaining two meals at Elements to a dinner at Atelier. This allowed me to not have to dine at the same restaurant as well as opening up a slot for me to explore a local restaurant. However, there were two things that I'd like to point out that the hotel can improve upon. The first is the staffing at the club lounge (and in general) is not enough. There were many moments where I was left to wait, to the point where using standard facilities (like the check-in counter, or breakfast at Elements) would have been a more positive experience. Breakfast on 12/21 was where the understaffing really showed, where it took over an hour to complete breakfast; many guests left in the middle of their meal since service was horribly slow. However, the second point us what I would really want the hotel to work on - CoVID countermeasures. Largely, two things I'd like to point out. (1) Temperature screening us inconsistent. I was checked when I first arrived, but never anytime afterwards (or should I say, the thermometer station was unmanned). (2) During my meal at Atelier, my wife and I noticed that the staff (He was Italian, I think his name is Marco?) preparing the dishes (in the open kitchen) prepping a sauce, tasting it with the same spoon which was quickly rinsed it under the faucet and returned into the mixing bowl. I pointed this out to one of the servers (Japanese male, responsible for serving and explaining the dishes). This is where I felt the hotel can improve on - in detail, three things. (i) The Japanese server proceeded to quietly scold the staff in front of me, I felt that was not a great experience both for myself and the staff. (ii) Nothing was cleared. After the scolding (and then the staff responding back that he did not put the spoon back in) none of the utensils were changed and no follow up. I guess there is no trust in what a customer points out. And finally (iii) I felt that this is at the fault of the hotel for not putting in proper operation guidelines.A person putting together a meal will need to taste it, to make sure it's good. If the hotel were to put in operational guidelines to ensure tasting can be done while still making it very obvious that it is hygienic, I would not have to be writing this email. Needless to say, our dinner experience was ruined that night. I actually shared the above comment with IHG Guest Relations (on 25 Dec), which the agent was extremely prompt on getting back to me and assured that I would get a response back from the hotel about it within 48 hours. Travel with a group of friends to Beppu but only 4 of us decided to stay at Amanek for 2 nights. This was the best decision ever as we were closed to the JR station, eateries, Tokiwa shopping mall, Donki and the beach were within walking distance. Only few staff could speak English. Those who speak Japanese only also try their best to serve the guest. I am impressed by how clean and new the whole hotel is. Best of all, I love the free flow of juices & beverages. You could also do take away in the UCC coffee disposible cup. Love the choice of either western or local breakfast with free flow of side dishes. I am surprised by how big the bedroom is and spacious bathroom. The gym equipment tho basic, are new & in good condition. The onsen is clean & modern & I love the warm rooftop pool with an awesome view! Amanek is thoughtful to provide guest with a basket to hold all your onsen needs. Upon check out, I was overcharged for my 2 days of breakfast. The staff was quick to rectify the problem & refunded me on the spot. Yes, would definitely stay in Amanek again in my next visit to Beppu! Thank you for the awesome stay!

The hotel building we stayed in was one of several on the resort property. Driving to the property was easy, and parking was free. The room was spacious as compared to most other Japanese hotels, with enough room for two luggage. WIth ensuite bathroom, it was comfortable and had all the usual amenities. The onsen and swimming pool were in the next building (about 4 mins walk away), which was also the same place for breakfast and dinner. Both breakfast and dinner were buffet style, like a smaller version of a Las Vegas buffet, but with equally good spead and nice food. I would highly recommend dining there (it was only 3,000 yen per person that evening, very very good value). Good stopover hotel for any drive holiday on Kyushu.

Ein Mitglied unserer Party reservierte dieses Hotel im Januar 2019 durch Booking.com, um uns (eine Party von vier in 2 Zimmern) für eine Nacht während unserer RWC 2019 Tour zu beherbergen. Wir waren im Hotel untergebracht, so dass wir nicht auf die Standards des Hotel Sun Valley Anhangs kommentieren können. Bei der Ankunft hatten wir eine herzliche Begrüßung und das Hotel war gut für seine RWC-Gäste bereit, die relevante Informationen über die Reise nach und von Beppu und Einrichtungen in Beppu selbst liefern. Die Betten waren auch sauber, aber das ist, wo das gute Ende. Das Hotel ist unterstandardisiert und die Zimmer klein, schmutzig (der Staub im Zimmer und die Sauberkeit des Badezimmers war verdächtig) und elektrische Waren und Anlagen alt und gefährlich. Die Zimmer waren nicht leicht im Badezimmer, was bedeutete, dass die Badezimmertür während der Nutzung offen bleiben musste. Die Kosten des Zimmers waren nicht übermäßig bei ca. £220 pro Nacht, aber es war auch nicht billig . Was auch immer es kostet, es ist teuer für das, was es hat und was es bietet. Es dauerte viel zu überzeugen, dass ich für eine Nacht in diesem Hotel bleiben und ich würde nie wieder zurückkommen oder persönlich empfehlen es den Reisenden. Es gibt andere Hotels, die bessere Unterkünfte für die gleiche/gleiche Kosten bieten. Hier sind einige der Fotos, um die Qualität unserer Zimmer und Einrichtungen zu unterstreichen.

I booked Amane Resort Gahama via orbitz in the very last minutes (the day of check-in) since there were no Airbnbs or other hotels available in the area for that day. My stay here with my family ended up being SO perfect & fantabulous:) As soon as I walked in the room, my inner voice says, “OMG I accidentally treated myself. This is like heaven!!” :) 1. Our room came with 2 onsen (hot spring) bath tubs. One is built in open air in the garden (roten buro), and the other is built inside (see the attached pictures). The two bath tabs are separated by the glass sliding doors. I truly enjoyed and appreciated the experience. I hopped in the bath as many times as I could to make my money worth!! They also have an open air bath (roten buro) with the beautiful view accessible to all guests. 2. Breakfast included was OMG SO deeelicious. It’s buffet style. They have traditional Japanese, Chinese, Western styled food. All guests were required to wear vinyl gloves whenever they would go get food. They have got this glove dispenser that would pump the air inside of the gloves so all we needed to do was to let our hands slide inside of gloves ( so we would not accidentally touch the next guest’s gloves underneath). I thought this was very generous and appreciated that they were trying hard to minimize contacts for covid prevention. 3. We also ate at the restaurant in the hotel. The staff, wait persons were all so nice. The food was excellent! Non alcoholic plum wine was delicious:) 4. All staffs in the hotel were super nice. We had a great stay thanks to them:)

　Nach dem ersten Frühstücksnacht, etwa ２ Stunden, krank, am nächsten Tag um 14 Uhr, um 10 Mal gebräuchlich, einschließlich der Mitte der Nacht, nach dem Busfahrer in der Hölle, war es völlig unreisend. Das Essen einschließlich des Aufenthaltstages ist nur im Hotel, es gibt keine anderen Gründe. (Der erste Tag ist mit dem Schokoladefertiger fertig). Ich habe mich vor der Übergabe des Hotels nicht mal gemeldet, aber das Personal hat mich nicht mal geholfen, nachdem ich zurückkam. Das Frühstück war am nächsten Tag nicht gut. Darüber hinaus ist die Strippe im Stripperin im Hotel Casino nur ein kleiner １ Zhang. Als ich am ersten Tag um 9 Uhr ins Haus ging, war die Wange infiltriert und unbehaglich. Und auf der Homepage wurde deutlich, dass die Separatoren mit heißem Wasser geschlossen wurden. Während der 2-Nacht- und 3-Tage-Reise wurden zwei Tage zerstört. Und krank und nach Hause dauerte es auch vier Tage, drei Tage fast ungenießbar. Die Zeit ist ins Hof gelangt und Heilung zu Hause. Es ist nur normal, zu schlagen, es tut mir leid. Es wird nicht mehr verwendet.
