"A lovely boutique hotel in Bénodet close to the port and beaches. There is a 5 minute ferry over to St Marine which is also lovely. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - we enjoyed our stay very much. The place has a feel of home about it rather than a hotel - lovely decor. Highly recommend"

"Bed is comfortable but thats about where the positives end, and 2 stars is kind. I'd highly recommend paying the extra few euros and stay in the parent hotel which is the "Grand Hotel" around the corner which is far superior and way better value for money. This hotel is old, not well kept, en suite was internal with no window and black mould in the shower, and smelt terribly, and generally not a nice smell throughout the hotel. Would avoid unless really stuck."

"I am very disappointed but just for the restaurant and the restaurant staff, this famous little intern who does not offer us any drinks or bread and rushes us the fish soup while we were still at the aperitif, so cold soup. so already having dinner at the entrance for 10 minutes no drinks offered or bread so I tell my husband it's pitiful and at the end of the meal the manager of the room takes his defense and catches me at the exit to tell me that the little one was upset and that he had left her behind to protect her and me very surprised and in tears because my husband came just 3 minutes before but did not say anything to him it's really the world upside down at 1800 euros per week it's disgusting and the manager of the room very unfriendly stressful, and that we ask him for rust for the fish soup while the little intern does not know what she knows and the manager of the room shouts loudly in front of everyone YOU ARE NOT IN THE SOUTH HERE WHAT ARROGANCE !!!! It's a shame because all the rest of the week we have lunch and dinner in another hotel. I feel sorry for this little one in high season especially since we didn't say anything to her. Fortunately, all the hostesses and the reception manager were extremely kind. And took the time to listen to us. Thank you again to all of you for your kindness. And regarding this room manager, I think that if it had been a customer at 5000 euros per week, I think he would not have accosted his wife. And this intern before leaving the hotel who runs like a three-year-old child towards the reception to find out what we had said, this behavior is really disappointing and unprofessional. Other people were there and stunned."

"Wir verbrachten 6 Nächte im Hotel Amoric in Benodet, die wir sehr genossen haben. Wir hatten ein Superiorzimmer, das wirklich sehr groß ist, auch das Badezimmer ist groß. Die Einrichtung ist etwas historisch, aber wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Das Zimmer (Nr. 27) ist im 2. Stock nach hinten zum Garten gelegen und sehr ruhig. Der große Garten des Hauses ist wunderschön gepflegt und es gibt einen kleinen Pool, Tischtennis und viele schöne Ecken um sich auszuruhen. Das Hotel wird familiär geführt und man kommt an Chef und Chefin nie ohne einen netten Plausch vorbei. Das Essen im Restaurant ist seinen Preis wert. Es gibt z.B. ein Menu für 19 € mit Fischsuppe oder kleinem Meeresfrüchteteller als Vorspeise, Fisch bzw. Rindfleisch des Tages und Dessert bzw. Käse. Wir haben mehrmals im Restaurant zu Abend gegessen und waren immer zufrieden."
