Stayed for 1 week, 5/12 September, wish it was longer, bit of a hiccup when we got to our allocated room , I thought we had a balcony but we never, room was overlooking a roof with a few pot plants ,straight back to reception and 70 euros later ,a room with a balcony looking out on to the road , not a problem for me or the wife , the lady on reception was lovely, infact all the staff were brilliant ,always helpful ,friendly and polite, the hotel itself was really nice, Our room was a bit small but we managed OK, irons and kettles can be hired from reception, we brought our own as they are not in standard rooms, beds are comfortable but the pillows let it down, storage was OK, there is a fridge in the room and the safe has to be paid for, We stayed half board, breakfast was good with plenty on offer from full English to continental, fruit cakes ect, the evening meal was fine also with a few options meat fish salad , the crispy duck was amazing, The roof areas were brilliant, nice and relaxing , there is building work going on but not in the hotel and it doesn't affect anything , The bar areas again are really good and the prices are very reasonable, can't really find anything negative about the hotel apart from the lifts only 2 lifts and only take 3 persons at a time. All in all we had a very pleasant stay at the Voromar and would not hesitate to return which we hope to next year.
