Apartamentos Vistamar

The positive remarks - very clean & spacious apartment lovely big balcony. Reception staff friendly Negatives - we had to take our towels & bedding down to reception to collect clean ones. Also take our own rubbish to containers outside hotel. Pay for air con, and pay a deposit in case we damaged anything- which was taken from my credit card - then refunded once they checked the room - so they had a weeks interest on €150 - which would work out quite a lot over the year from everyone who stayed there. We won’t be booking again, I felt they just wanted as much out of you as they could, & saved a lot of money by not having cleaners in the rooms.

The worst experience of my life, the staff is rude and they do not solve any problem, we had to pay for air conditioning 7.5 euros per day, pool chairs and towels 1.5 euros per day, they never changed our sheets or cleaned the apartment, if you wanted to change the towels you had to take them down to the reception, I don't recommend it and it was the worst holiday of my life in this place

The hotel was so much better than I thought it was going to be.. clean and fresh.. I shared the apartment with 4 of us little bit tight... but wanted to be together so we compromised.. location was good too, just a little walk 10mins to the *****. Only down side was you have to pay for sunbeds, 150 euro and no cleaners to change beds etc. But really enjoyed my stay here. Titanic bar lovely food ... and Tommy's bars 2 for one on drinks and entertainment good. This is my honest review, I loved my stay here and will return

This is the second time we’ve stayed here at the vistimar apartments can’t fault the rooms at all very clean spacious lovely balcony staff all lovely and friendly the only downside is the pool area which would benefit from some new sunbeds to be upgraded as there not adjustable and are very hard I had to buy a lilo to put on top for comfort and it needs some umbrellas for shade maybe a few tables and chairs to sit at when you need to get out of the sun for a bit considering you have to pay 1.50 euro a day they should be more comfortable overall had a pleasant stay if the pool area was sorted I wouldn’t hesitate on staying again but as it is a moment I’m reluctant on booking these apartments again

Stayed here loads of times and had a great holiday as usual,apartment spotless,asked for 1st floor again and got it,staff as usual were great,one of the best value for money places in Benidorm,makes me chuckle when people moan about having to pay for aircon and pool beds,they could always book somewhere else where these things are included in the price but that price is probably about £300 more than this place is,would definitely recommend the Vistamar

On arrival to the apartments at 3am ..we went to the reception to be greeted by a male, who was polite, asked us for 150 euro deposit which wasnt mentioned at the time of booking the holiday !, told us the room number and off we went to the 7th floor. Room was very spacious for 2 people , large balcony and living area, all areas very clean , sofa bed in lounge area and 2 single beds , plenty of space for clothes for 2 people, as we were self catering we were told that we wouldnt get our room cleaned, we had to take our dirty towels to reception if we needed clean ones, upon talking to a couple who were also self catering they had had their room cleaned twice. Check out was 11 am , but to keep the room on was 25 euros , as we were getting picked up at 2pm there was no point so just went for a walk. Nice pub/restaurant next door called titanic which was cheap and cheerful, Breakfast , light snacks etc, also supermarket next door which had everything you needed. No entertainment at the hotel. Nice pool area which you have to walk across a car park to get to and they also charge 1.50 euro a day to use the sunbeds !!....no umbrellas and hardly any shade on a hot day. there is a smaller pool for the little ones. The lift isnt the fastest of lifts and been on the 7th floor was bad enough after a day in the sun or a night out. There are 2 lifts and you have to use your door key for access, so dont forget your swipe card..

Apartments were really clean and spacious. It's in a great location. Two good restaurants beside the titanic and wooky hollow. Tommy's was great for all entertainment. The staff were really nice apart from one staff member named Christina. I don't think she likes her job much. There is a 150 deposit and it's better to pay in cash so u get returned when leaving. There is alot of extras like air conditioning, cleaning service, deposit for towels and towels, sun beds at pool. Pool was lovely but no bar there. There is a shop beside hotel and a vending machine in hotel. Overall i had a good experience and holiday. It was first time to stay in an apartment self catering but I think i prefer a hotel for everything included plus entertainment and telly in room but if you like self catering and cleaning up then I couldn't find any faults with click vistamar.

After many holidays to many destinations, including 7 in Benidorm this is the first time I've ever felt the need to write a review. We read the reviews and believed it would just be picky and general moaning people but they hadn't even touched the surface with what we went through. The room was advertised for 4 people, we were given a sofa and a mattress on the floor along with 2 beds. The entire apartments had a vile smell throughout the whole stay and when we flushed the toilet we got a disgusting smell of urine. Once you've paid your €7.50 per day air con fee, yoy struggle to find it throughout the day, until 5am where it suddenly turns to the antarctic. The swimming pool is shared with a different apartment. This means a full pool all day everyday with a charge of almost €2 a sunbed. 2 days in was when it really all went wring. We had a good sized apartment to cater for 4 adults. That was until we were asked to move as there was a leak coming from our shower downstairs. Where we were moved to a much smaller room which was almost unbearable. This caused even more problems as I'm guessing the room sizes determine how many towels you can exchange at a time. We were only then given 3 towels every 2 days to share amongst 4 men. We explained we had been moved and the woman behind the counter looked like I had spat in her face. She was the next problem. Couldn't pay her to crack a smile, absolutely miserable and made us feel very unwelcome. Overall awful experience, we were downgraded with 0 apology or compensation. Never again.

The location of the apartments is what originally drew us in they are within a ten min walk of the ***** and beach while being far enough away to avoid rowdiness and noise. On checkin the woman was quite rude and blunt. No friendliness or pleasantries just demanding £150 deposit and hotel vouchers. Not very informative either. The rooms are very spacious and bright with more than enough room for two people. Balcony was spectacular with sunbeds, drying rack and table with great views and lots of space. Our apartment was a superior one so air con was included. On initial appearance room appeared clean enough however it was actually quite grubby. Bathroom needs a good scrub, hooks hanging off the walls from towels floors were dirty. Sheets were changed maybe twice in the space of a week which for the price of a superior room seems ridiculous. Towels were the same. Not impressed considering the sweat in the heat. Beds were never made either. The pool was large and a nice space however the sunloungers are ridiculous. The cheapest and worst quality they are unadjustable so cannot read or have a drink by the pool. Also charged €1.50 per sun loungers is a joke. No umbrellas for shade either just very cheap overall. The €150 deposit seems excessive in my opinion. I have paid deposits in other hotels before and understand the need to protect themselves from damages but it seems a very steep price to pay per room. On checkout the rooms are inspected by staff before giving deposit back just a bit strange. The lobby is non existent and also doubles as a bar not very welcoming or professional. The lift was also ridiculous and needs fixing. We were on the 18th floor and its the slowest and hottest lift ive ever been in truly horrible. Overall for a short cheap stay not terrible but needs some tlc. Would not stay again.
