Hotel Joya

Spent 2 nights here end of April, Nice hotel about 800 metres from the Beach. Is up hill if you're walking from the Beach or nearby bars. Room was decent, bed was fine had a good sleep, bathroom and shower were fine. There was no fridge in the room, best bringing water in with you at night, reception sell litre bottles of water. Reception were very helpful, breakfast was your typical hotel buffet type, although there was no sausages, not sure if that was just the morning I used it. I've booked the hotel again for 4 nights in June.

Lovely little hotel. Extremely clean and staff very welcoming. In a great location to both the new & old town & the beach. Pool is small so i can imagine in the height of summer it would be hard to get a sunbed and be very busy. Wasn't keen on the cooked breakfast, it was always cold, but they had a good choice of food. Over all i really enjoyed my stay here and would go back, don't think it would suit fussier people.

Brilliant hotel at a brilliant price, superb value. Cracking staff. Rooms nice, brilliantly kept clean by superb cleaners every day. Brilliant pool, and bar. Brilliant cafe and bar, with good snacks and decent prices. Lovely mug of coffee for 2 euro. Decent breakfast, lots of choices, however only usually three British type items, always bacon, one style of egg plus either mushrooms, beans or grilled tomatoes. Decent location, central to new , old town and ten minutes to the sea front. One minute to big hyper market. Overall brilliant experience.

Stayed here for 4 nights with friends, pleasantly surprised with our stay! Staff were friendly, rooms were spotless and location meant we had the option of both new and old town within just a short walk. I would definitely return!!

Lovely hotel, very clean, polite staff, and helpful. Close to amenities, and about 15 min walk to the beach. Lovely pool with a bar. September is a good time to come, if you're want it quieter Booking again for sametime next year

Clean and comfortable room, bar was good with reasonably priced food. 10 minute walk to the beach, bit longer coming back as it’s all uphill! Supermarket 1 minute away. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay there again!

My sister and I stayed here for 4 nights over the August Bank Holiday. The staff were very friendly and after check in we were soon in our room. The bathroom was standard with a shower over the bath but the pressure was excellent which was good. Hand soap and shower gel were provided. The room provided a safe which is chargeable per day and a €10 deposit is required. We paid €7.75 for the 3 days we were there. Our room contained a double bed and a put you up bed which was very unstable and I didn’t fancy my chances on that! The breakfast was basic but adequate. Always pastries on offer and cold meats and cheeses but the hot food changed daily. There were always 3 hot food options. Different breads and rolls, cereals and fruit were also available. We didn’t stay for lunch or dinner. Pool opens at 9.30 but no big rush to get a bed! Some you could adjust to sit up and some you couldn’t. The pool was lovely and clean and there was a deep end. There is a bar and cafe on site and prices were reasonable. The shuttle bus from the airport drops you just over the road from the hotel and you can see the hotel sign when you get off the bus. Very pleasant stay at this hotel.

Hotel was about 20 mins walk from the old town and beach so its not exactly on the doorstep. Room very basic but clean. Beds made and towels changed every day. Staff friendly. Pool is nice, not loads of loungers but adequate. Food hit and miss. One day just boiled egg and tomatoes but only ever 3 hot options, mushroms, bacon, egg etc not a great.variety. my only complaint would be the balconies. They are only screwed in to the floor so quite wobbly. Wouldnt ever risk leaning on them because i genuinely think they would give way.
