It was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Food is excellent and the Restaurant team under Aleixo Savio is very good. A big shout out to Aleixo Savio!! The day reception team with Bill and Cizelle are pathetic, oversmart... atleast they think they are from their behaviour, condescending... rude and basically mannerless. The initial room given to us was not up to the mark and we had to change for certain reasons. The owner was extremely helpful in resolving the room issue. After checkout, and after leaving the hotel and returning to Pune, my mother rang for the owners telephone number as she needed to contact the owner for something... these two wonderful individuals demanded to know why and then cut her off!! With several follow up calls which went unanswered from reception, it was clear that they were purposely not taking her phone calls. Talk about lack of good manners and decency!! Neither of us understand what the problem is and neither do we want to waste time trying to understand, but the front office staff during the day, need to improve their customer relations.... and leave much to be desired of! Please understand that you are not doing anyone a favour by being pleasant... it's expected of you... however trying a customer may be!! The person handling night reception during our stay was excellent! He made enquiries and was genuine in his approach!! A big shout out to him... (I apologise for not knowing his name.) Housekeeping is okay... could be managed better and they are trying. The hotel has an old world charm to it... a pool, grounds which are maintained and tastefully done. This is a place worth staying in. It has it's own charm and is nicely run. I would certainly recommend this to anyone travelling within a budget.

this is a no frills property. neat and clean rooms, neat sheets, clean bathrooms and a small pantry to make tea/coffee is all what you will get. it doesn't have a tv, intercom, newspaper delivered or a restaurant attached to the property. the property is attached to the beach so you can directly go in your swimsuit. lots of shacks nearby and so lunch and dinner options are not a problem. however breakfast is a little away from the property (0.5 km on the benaulim beach main road towards Maria Hall). if you are a late breakfast eater (post 10am) then you can go to the shacks nearby. they aren't open early in the morning unlike the ones that are about 0.5 km away. the staff at L'Amour is very friendly and very helpful. They have good security at both the main entrance as well as the beach entrance and make sure that the visitors entry is bonafide. overall its a lovely place for a budget traveller.

Sehr ruhige Lage am Strand, gepflegte Anlage mit schönem Restaurant. Sehr grosse, saubere Zimmer, teilweise mit hübschen Holzmöbeln. Das allerbeste ist jedoch das aufmerksame, kompetente und herzliche Personal an Rezeption, beim Hauskeeing und im Restaurant. Nach einem Sturz meines Mannes wurde alles professionell und schnell für uns organisiert: Arzt gefunden mit Röntgenmöglichkeit, Transport organisiert etc. Liebevoll wurde sich auch anschließend um uns gekümmert. Ich war als alleinreisende Frau im Januar 2019 das erste Mal in Goa und hatte eine Hütte im the fern beira mar für ca. 9 Tage gebucht. Die Hütten sind sehr groß und sauber, jeden Tag kommt das hauskeeping und macht sauber. Die Hotel-Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und das Personal nett und hilfsbereit. Zum Sonnenuntergang habe ich es mir gern in einer der Hängematten bequem gemacht. Das Frühstück war gut, nur richtig guten Kaffee habe ich vermisst. Der Pool ist auch super erfrischend und es gibt Sunbeds zum entspannen. Toll ist die direkte Verbindung zum Strand, den *** durch ein Tor auf der Hotel-Anlage erreicht. Der Strand ist weiß und kilometerlang, ein Traum. Geschäfte im Ort Benaulim sind fußläufig erreichbar. Ich habe mich sehr sicher und wohl während meines Aufenthaltes im beira mar gefühlt und werde wiederkommen.
