Exceptionally clean beautiful bedding extras like a place to put hot items like hair straighter and tv controls were in a new plastic bag to maintain cleanliness. The shared facilities including kitchen were also outstanding. I took my neice to see the Perseids meteor shower as this is a dark sky area, we also saw the Milky Way thousands of stars and the northern lights. Quiet immaculate place in the middle of the countryside in darks sky very beautiful. The only difficulty for us is that we arrived on a very hot day, the room was very warm even with the fan but this was extreme weather! I did love the shutters on the windows though great for keeping the shade if you want. Lovely welcome from the staff and shown around so we knew where facilities were

Beautiful immaculate guest room with adjoining kitchen in lovely surroundings big games/function hall fully equipped with kitchen and toilets and a bar fitted with optics to take your own alcohol pool table and table tennis children's play park nearby local pubs nearby lovely friendly owners Alastair and Sue also lovely Hazel who helps keeping the guest rooms and lodges immaculate will definitely be going back

The location is quiet and pretty. The room and bathroom were immaculate and very comfortable. I liked having the use of a modern shared kitchen and being able to park right outside. We stayed here to break a long journey, and would do so again.

Stayed in the accessible guest room for three nights with my mum. Excellent facilities, large wet room style bathroom, clean and comfortable. Use of the Kitchen was an added bonus. Lovely, quiet setting.

Looks like a school trip place (and it is!) but once inside it’s like a luxury hotel. Spotless warm rooms with great facilities. Continental breakfast left outside our room in the morning. About a mile walk to shops and restaurants, plenty parking
