Had a fantastic family weekend. Lets face it the venue is getting a bit tired and needs a revamp. I believe there are new owners coming in so hopefully the required investment takes place. Such a beautiful property with lots of potential. It is rather isolated, but ideal for some time quite time away. Two of the dams in great condition and well stocked. Caught plenty of fish which was nice. For me the trip well highlighted what a difference good onsite management can make in the tourism sector. Suzette and Gert were unbelievable and more than made up for the small imperfections. I wish them well with their next venture

Very relaxing. The management was extremely helpfull and friendly. Fishing was a new and exciting experience. Bottom dam needs attention. Venue is well cared for and very clean and neat. In future the tent accomodation will need structural attention although it was very pleasant, clean, neat and tidy.. The Mill was very informative and well kept.

We enjoyed our time there it’s quiet and peaceful. If you want to get away from the city just to breathe fresh air and see stars, this is the place.

Would recommend to nature lovers and anyone looking for n peaceful getaway, service and cleanliness was excellent, the staff were amazing and even cleaned rooms on a Sunday.

Calm, peaceful, tranquil landscape. Great dams with mountain backdrop. Enjoyable walks along the river and mountain. Excellent accommodation. Staff always willing to assist. Great place to master your fly fishing skills... Lovely fireplace with wood for the fire supplied. Everyday cleaning. Very nice bed with electric blanket

This is our favorite cabin to go to to escape from everything and everyone. Very secluded, no signal and just enjoying the beautiful nature that the stay has to offer in a beautiful cabin.

Our stay at Valley of the Rainbow was truly delightful! The place is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by stunning natural scenery. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the facilities we needed, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy our time there. Getting to Valley of the Rainbow from Pretoria was fairly manageable, though it's worth noting that the road conditions are not the best. Despite this, the journey was well worth it for the serene and picturesque setting that awaited us. One thing to note is that the location is not very close to Dullstroom, as it's about 80 kilometers away. It would be more accurately classified under Stoffberg. However, the place does have a Dullstroom vibe with its lovely dams, cool weather, and excellent trout fishing. The bath and king-size bed were epic, providing ultimate comfort and relaxation. The gas geyser was a fantastic feature, allowing us to enjoy long, warm baths without any concerns. We had such a wonderful time and would definitely return to Valley of the Rainbow for another relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!
