Disappointing Stay at Citadines Ritan Beijing
Dear Citadines Ritan Beijing Team,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the experience we had during our stay at your property. Our visit, unfortunately, did not meet the standards we had hoped for, and I feel compelled to share the issues we faced.
First, none of the front desk staff spoke English, which made communication incredibly difficult and frustrating, especially considering we were traveling from abroad. Additionally, our room was freezing upon arrival, and although we were given a portable heater after one hour of waiting and it was not functioning. After enduring the cold for a while, we called for a replacement, but no one attended to our request. We had to go down to the front desk three times before someone assisted us. This was particularly challenging, as we had already been traveling for over 24 hours.
Furthermore, the suite we booked was supposed to come with a washing machine and kitchenette, yet neither were adequately equipped (Aparthotel). There were no utensils, dishes, pots, or pans provided, and we even had to purchase our own laundry powder. This was extremely disappointing, as we had expected these basic amenities to be included in our room as described in our booking.
To add to the inconvenience, the room was not connected to Wi-Fi, despite our repeated efforts to have the front desk assist us in connecting our devices. This, combined with the other issues we faced, made for an incredibly painful experience that did not reflect the level of service we expected from Citadines.
I hope you take this feedback seriously, as it was a frustrating and uncomfortable stay, and I sincerely hope no future guests have to go through the same challenges.
