Im Hilton Garden Inn/Midway Flughafen für 3 Nächte für eine Wochenende-Reise. Ich habe im Hotel und mehrere andere im Hotelkomplex dort geblieben. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Shuttle vom Flughafen, der die Dinge viel einfacher macht. Nichts war wirklich mit diesem Aufenthalt wie mit dem letzten Mal, als ich dort war. Das Front Desk war nicht unfreundlich, aber sie gingen nicht aus ihrem Weg, freundlich zu sein, wie sie das letzte Mal, als ich letztes Jahr dort war. Die meisten sprachen nicht oder schauen sich von dem an, was sie tun, es sei denn, Sie sprachen zuerst. Sie müssen für das Frühstück bezahlen, aber Sie können bestellen, was Sie aus einem Menü wollen. Es gibt nur eine Wächterin und eine Kochin, so dass manchmal es ein wenig Zeit dauern kann, um Ihre Mahlzeit zu bekommen. Aber ich fühlte mich, als hätten sie es sehr gut für die Menge der Menschen, die da waren, vor allem am Samstag/Sonntagmorgen. Das Frühstück hält um 10:30 Uhr an. Ich habe gehört, dass sie Abendessen haben, aber nicht während des Wochenendes, was wirklich nicht sinnvoll war. Aber es gibt viele Optionen in der Nähe wie TGI Freitag und es gibt ein Starbucks im Marriott, die direkt vor diesem Hotel liegt. Das Hotel ist sauber und komfortabel und es gibt einen Innenpool. Ich habe mich entschieden, hier zu bleiben, weil es der beste Preis für die Hotels in dem Komplex zu diesem Zeitpunkt war. Auch wegen meiner vorherigen Erfahrung dort mit dem Hotel sehr sauber. Ehrlich gesagt, wenn ich nach Chicago zurückkomme, werde ich wahrscheinlich irgendwo anders bleiben, wenn sie eine bessere Rate haben. Ich glaube, dass es wichtig ist, wie Sie behandelt werden, und ich habe gerade das nicht gefühlt diese Zeit.

First I want tp start out this review by telling you all that I am a Lifetime Titanium member and am a Marriott Ambassador earning the status. So basically I travel a lot every year and I know great hotels from bad ones. I want everyone to know that the Chicago Marriott Midway Hotel is GREAT and if you have to be near the Midway Airport or surrounding areas this is the hotel you should book!! I recently stayed at this property for 6 weeks from the beginning of March to the middle of April. I hadn't planned on staying that long but unlucky me within 3 days of my stay I got a really bad cold and flu. I spent a few weeks recovering from that and then of course, I got a very bad sore throat to continue my misery lol. That lasted a few weeks and once I got better from that I had an ear infection so I couldn't fly home yet until my ear felt better. So basically an 8 day reservation turned into around a 45 day stay but the hotel took care of my every need. And by that I mean the fabulous staff. I want to first mention the GM Adam who imo does a phenomenal job. He is super friendly and really makes the hotel shine. Next is Victoria the asst GM - she is just as phenomenal and she helped me so much with any requests and needs I had during my long stay, especially when I under the weather. She is wonderful. I also want to give major kudos to the front desk team members that were very nice and helpful to me while I was there. Kaleb is 1 of the front desk agents and he really cares about the guests and was always there for me if I needed something. Angelica is a front desk agent too and she was likewise very nice and helpful to me. Danielle has been at the front desk usually on the first shift for over a year. She definitely knows her stuff and answered any questions I had and helped me with any needs. She is super nice and kind. Marguerita also works in the mornings and has been there for a few years now. Her and I got along great and I am super glad about that! Marcel unfortunately no longer works there but he was a supervisor at the desk and was always jovial and friendly every time he saw me. I also want to give recognition to a few of the other staff outside the front desk who helped me a lot and made a real positive impact on my super long stay. Martha is a long time housekeeper/supervisor and she is imo 1 of the best housekeepers at the Marriott. I have stayed at this hotel on and off for close to 10 years and like many properties, it has gone through some changes. But Martha has been there all that time and has always cleaned my room perfectly and put any special requests that I need like extra feather pillows or extra towels in the room anytime I need them. She is a long time employee and a great one!! Stephanie is the restaurant manager and she really helped me in recommending great menu items and any special requests. Kelly was 1 of the servers and she was always super friendly and a great server. I might be blanking on his name but there is a

I needed to stay somewhere overnight near Midway and this hotel fit the requirements. There is free 24 hour Midway airport shuttle service which is what I needed as I had an early flight out. The front desk clerk was very patient and hospitable and knew how to set expectations, which was fantastic for me after 10 hours on a plane, and getting into Midway very late at night. The night shuttle driver was also quite nice. I had a hard time understanding him, partially because he was using a face mask and partially because I was tired and sleep deprived and have bad hearing. I had a great night's sleep. I didn't stay long enough to figure out what, if any, they had for breakfast. I did use the free internet while I was here. There were only a few odd things. 1. When I walked into the room, it had an odd smell. I believe it came from the slightly moist carpet. In about 5 minutes, my nose got used to it and I didn't notice the smell the rest of my stay. 2. The desk had no electrical outlets on it. There was one electrical outlet on the wall (thankfully I had brought my own power *****) near the desk. On the desk was something that looked like outlets of some type, however I did not recognize what it could be used for. That meant that all my electronics were plugged into the 4 outlets, 2 on each of the bedside lamps, plus the power *****. 3. There was a microwave, however, no refrigerator. I didn't need one so it wasn't an issue. There was space in the area of the microwave where one would have the refrigerator. 4. The water for my shower at 3:45 am, never got truly hot. It was warm and probably adequate for babies and the elderly. However it was not hot enough for a sleep deprived individual who likes hot showers. On the other hand, it was warm enough for my shower. I just couldn't warm up, during the shower. 5. The area by the bathroom sink was quite small. It wasn't a real issue since I could place my things on the table in front of the microwave, which was just behind me as I was facing the sink. 6. I couldn't figure out how to change the temperature of the room. The air conditioner was blowing cool air. As long as I was covered at night, I was okay. However, I wanted the room to be warmer, and the lack of a hot shower, made the room even colder to me. Would I stay here again? Probably only as a 1 night stay. I've stayed at other Fairfield Inns that were in much better condition. However, the front desk clerk and the availability of the 24 hour shuttle service to/from the airport, makes it highly likely that I'll stay here again for a 1 night stay. This was a last minute booking so I paid a lot for this one night stay. They got me.

Ich war mit meinen drei Töchtern im Holiday Inn Express, im Alter von 17, 7 und 1 Aug 1-4th. Wenn ich sage ”schrecklich”, wäre das eine Unterbewertung!!!! Wir kamen spät an, um 10 Uhr. Nach dem Einchecken in mein Zimmer rief ich auf den Vordertisch für zusätzliches Bett, weil ich die Konferenzsuite reserviert und plane, den Sofa-Schlafschrank zu benutzen, da ich mit meinen Kindern reiste. Erstens sagte der Vorderbüropräsident mir, dass das Hotel voll reserviert war, aber sie würde sehen, was sie tun könnte. Ich sagte ihr: “Du meinst mir, dass es keine zusätzlichen Leinen im ganzen Hotel gibt.” Jedoch kam ein Knock an der Tür mit zusätzlichen Leinen fünf Minuten später. Dann, während wir den Schlafsofa öffnen, fanden wir Blut verfärbt Blätter auf dem Schlafsofa. Ich lief sofort aufs Telefon und rufe den Vordertisch. Oh, es wird schlimmer. Während sie mit dem Vorderbüro über die Blätter spricht, und sie mir sagt, es gibt buchstäblich niemand, der das Zimmer im ganzen Hotel reinigen kann und Hauspflege ist nicht ihre Aufgabe, Ich höre meinen 17-jährigen Schrei aus “nicht berühren” und mein 7-jähriger sagt “was ist es”, dann mein 17-jähriger sagt “Mutter das Baby hat fast ein verwendetes Kondom berührt”!!! Bevor ich sogar balistischen auf dem Telefon gehen konnte, der Vorderbüro-Beamte sagen “omg, ich bin so entschuldigt. Ich kann Ihr Zimmer bewegen. „ So nach 20 Minuten im schrecklichen Zimmer, nehmen mich und meine Kinder alle unsere Taschen in ein kleineres Zimmer um 10:30 Uhr in der Nacht. Ich bat um einen Manager und wurde gesagt, dass er erst am Mittwoch nicht da sein würde, und es war Sonntag Abend. Als ich endlich die Chance hatte, mit einem Manager zu sprechen, Maria Diaz, als ich sage, sie war der unpologene, nicht empathische, unprofessionelle, inkompetente Manager je!!!! Sie sagte mir und ich zitierte: “Hauspflege reinigt 20 Zimmer pro Tag, Dinge passieren, und wenn ich so verärgert wäre, hätte ich gelassen, das wäre sie getan”!!! Kein Wunder, Hauspflege macht eine fehlende Arbeit, schauen Sie sich auf Management!!! Und um zusätzlich Beleidigung zu verletzen, war mein Rechnung falsch und ich wurde für den größeren schmutzigen Raum beschuldigt, dass ich nicht schlief im Vergleich zu dem kleineren. Unnötig zu sagen, ich werde nie eine andere Holiday Inn-Kette besuchen und ich empfehle Ihnen, weit von diesem zu bleiben!!! Ich werde den ganzen Tag auf der Suche nach jedem und allen in der Firma verbringen!!!!

I needed to stay somewhere overnight near Midway and this hotel fit the requirements. There is free 24 hour Midway airport shuttle service which is what I needed as I had an early flight out. The front desk clerk was very patient and hospitable and knew how to set expectations, which was fantastic for me after 10 hours on a plane, and getting into Midway very late at night. The night shuttle driver was also quite nice. I had a hard time understanding him, partially because he was using a face mask and partially because I was tired and sleep deprived and have bad hearing. I had a great night's sleep. I didn't stay long enough to figure out what, if any, they had for breakfast. I did use the free internet while I was here. There were only a few odd things. 1. When I walked into the room, it had an odd smell. I believe it came from the slightly moist carpet. In about 5 minutes, my nose got used to it and I didn't notice the smell the rest of my stay. 2. The desk had no electrical outlets on it. There was one electrical outlet on the wall (thankfully I had brought my own power *****) near the desk. On the desk was something that looked like outlets of some type, however I did not recognize what it could be used for. That meant that all my electronics were plugged into the 4 outlets, 2 on each of the bedside lamps, plus the power *****. 3. There was a microwave, however, no refrigerator. I didn't need one so it wasn't an issue. There was space in the area of the microwave where one would have the refrigerator. 4. The water for my shower at 3:45 am, never got truly hot. It was warm and probably adequate for babies and the elderly. However it was not hot enough for a sleep deprived individual who likes hot showers. On the other hand, it was warm enough for my shower. I just couldn't warm up, during the shower. 5. The area by the bathroom sink was quite small. It wasn't a real issue since I could place my things on the table in front of the microwave, which was just behind me as I was facing the sink. 6. I couldn't figure out how to change the temperature of the room. The air conditioner was blowing cool air. As long as I was covered at night, I was okay. However, I wanted the room to be warmer, and the lack of a hot shower, made the room even colder to me. Would I stay here again? Probably only as a 1 night stay. I've stayed at other Fairfield Inns that were in much better condition. However, the front desk clerk and the availability of the 24 hour shuttle service to/from the airport, makes it highly likely that I'll stay here again for a 1 night stay. This was a last minute booking so I paid a lot for this one night stay. They got me.

First I want tp start out this review by telling you all that I am a Lifetime Titanium member and am a Marriott Ambassador earning the status. So basically I travel a lot every year and I know great hotels from bad ones. I want everyone to know that the Chicago Marriott Midway Hotel is GREAT and if you have to be near the Midway Airport or surrounding areas this is the hotel you should book!! I recently stayed at this property for 6 weeks from the beginning of March to the middle of April. I hadn't planned on staying that long but unlucky me within 3 days of my stay I got a really bad cold and flu. I spent a few weeks recovering from that and then of course, I got a very bad sore throat to continue my misery lol. That lasted a few weeks and once I got better from that I had an ear infection so I couldn't fly home yet until my ear felt better. So basically an 8 day reservation turned into around a 45 day stay but the hotel took care of my every need. And by that I mean the fabulous staff. I want to first mention the GM Adam who imo does a phenomenal job. He is super friendly and really makes the hotel shine. Next is Victoria the asst GM - she is just as phenomenal and she helped me so much with any requests and needs I had during my long stay, especially when I under the weather. She is wonderful. I also want to give major kudos to the front desk team members that were very nice and helpful to me while I was there. Kaleb is 1 of the front desk agents and he really cares about the guests and was always there for me if I needed something. Angelica is a front desk agent too and she was likewise very nice and helpful to me. Danielle has been at the front desk usually on the first shift for over a year. She definitely knows her stuff and answered any questions I had and helped me with any needs. She is super nice and kind. Marguerita also works in the mornings and has been there for a few years now. Her and I got along great and I am super glad about that! Marcel unfortunately no longer works there but he was a supervisor at the desk and was always jovial and friendly every time he saw me. I also want to give recognition to a few of the other staff outside the front desk who helped me a lot and made a real positive impact on my super long stay. Martha is a long time housekeeper/supervisor and she is imo 1 of the best housekeepers at the Marriott. I have stayed at this hotel on and off for close to 10 years and like many properties, it has gone through some changes. But Martha has been there all that time and has always cleaned my room perfectly and put any special requests that I need like extra feather pillows or extra towels in the room anytime I need them. She is a long time employee and a great one!! Stephanie is the restaurant manager and she really helped me in recommending great menu items and any special requests. Kelly was 1 of the servers and she was always super friendly and a great server. I might be blanking on his name but there is a

I didn't need one so it wasn't an issue. There was space in the area of the microwave where one would have the refrigerator. 4. The water for my shower at 3:45 am, never got truly hot. It was warm and probably adequate for babies and the elderly. However it was not hot enough for a sleep deprived individual who likes hot showers. On the other hand, it was warm enough for my shower. Ich habe um 8:00 Uhr angemeldet und musste um 5 Uhr für einen Flug verlassen, so alles, was ich wollte war eine gute Nacht Schlaf. Die Zimmer haben die Türen anschließen, die in ALL Lärm aus dem angrenzenden Zimmer verbinden. Die Menschen neben der Tür sprechen nur auf einem normalen Niveau, aber sie könnten auch in meinem Zimmer gewesen sein. Ich konnte jedes Wort hören, der Splash von Wasser aus der Dusche, der Tafel eines Getränks kann geöffnet werden, der Rüstchen eines Beutels. Ich habe nicht einmal besonders gut zu hören. Sie gingen schließlich um 5 Uhr ins Bett, so wie ich verließ, also habe ich überhaupt nicht geschlafen. Ich habe die Treppe hinunter gestaffelt, um herauszuchecken und musste zehn Minuten warten, bis die Computer wieder aufkommen, was verständlich war. Ich bat den Vorschalter, den Flughafenschiff zu rufen, während wir auf die Computer warten, und sie spielte sehr zielgerichtet ihre Augen. Ich war zu erschöpft, um zu fragen, was so unvernünftig war, was meine Forderung war, aber es spielte keine Rolle. Die Kombination aus schlechtem Raumdesign und Unprofessionalität sorgt dafür, dass ich nie wieder zurückkomme.

First I want tp start out this review by telling you all that I am a Lifetime Titanium member and am a Marriott Ambassador earning the status. So basically I travel a lot every year and I know great hotels from bad ones. I want everyone to know that the Chicago Marriott Midway Hotel is GREAT and if you have to be near the Midway Airport or surrounding areas this is the hotel you should book!! I recently stayed at this property for 6 weeks from the beginning of March to the middle of April. I hadn't planned on staying that long but unlucky me within 3 days of my stay I got a really bad cold and flu. I spent a few weeks recovering from that and then of course, I got a very bad sore throat to continue my misery lol. That lasted a few weeks and once I got better from that I had an ear infection so I couldn't fly home yet until my ear felt better. So basically an 8 day reservation turned into around a 45 day stay but the hotel took care of my every need. And by that I mean the fabulous staff. I want to first mention the GM Adam who imo does a phenomenal job. He is super friendly and really makes the hotel shine. Next is Victoria the asst GM - she is just as phenomenal and she helped me so much with any requests and needs I had during my long stay, especially when I under the weather. She is wonderful. I also want to give major kudos to the front desk team members that were very nice and helpful to me while I was there. Kaleb is 1 of the front desk agents and he really cares about the guests and was always there for me if I needed something. Angelica is a front desk agent too and she was likewise very nice and helpful to me. Danielle has been at the front desk usually on the first shift for over a year. She definitely knows her stuff and answered any questions I had and helped me with any needs. She is super nice and kind. Marguerita also works in the mornings and has been there for a few years now. Her and I got along great and I am super glad about that! Marcel unfortunately no longer works there but he was a supervisor at the desk and was always jovial and friendly every time he saw me. I also want to give recognition to a few of the other staff outside the front desk who helped me a lot and made a real positive impact on my super long stay. Martha is a long time housekeeper/supervisor and she is imo 1 of the best housekeepers at the Marriott. I have stayed at this hotel on and off for close to 10 years and like many properties, it has gone through some changes. But Martha has been there all that time and has always cleaned my room perfectly and put any special requests that I need like extra feather pillows or extra towels in the room anytime I need them. She is a long time employee and a great one!! Stephanie is the restaurant manager and she really helped me in recommending great menu items and any special requests. Im Hilton Garden Inn/Midway Flughafen für 3 Nächte für eine Wochenende-Reise. Ich habe im Hotel und mehrere andere im Hotelkomplex dort geblieben. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Shuttle vom Flughafen, der die Dinge viel einfacher macht. Nichts war wirklich mit diesem Aufenthalt wie mit dem letzten Mal, als ich dort war. Das Front Desk war nicht unfreundlich, aber sie gingen nicht aus ihrem Weg, freundlich zu sein, wie sie das letzte Mal, als ich letztes Jahr dort war. Die meisten sprachen nicht oder schauen sich von dem an, was sie tun, es sei denn, Sie sprachen zuerst. Sie müssen für das Frühstück bezahlen, aber Sie können bestellen, was Sie aus einem Menü wollen. Es gibt nur eine Wächterin und eine Kochin, so dass manchmal es ein wenig Zeit dauern kann, um Ihre Mahlzeit zu bekommen. Aber ich fühlte mich, als hätten sie es sehr gut für die Menge der Menschen, die da waren, vor allem am Samstag/Sonntagmorgen. Das Frühstück hält um 10:30 Uhr an. Ich habe gehört, dass sie Abendessen haben, aber nicht während des Wochenendes, was wirklich nicht sinnvoll war. Aber es gibt viele Optionen in der Nähe wie TGI Freitag und es gibt ein Starbucks im Marriott, die direkt vor diesem Hotel liegt. Das Hotel ist sauber und komfortabel und es gibt einen Innenpool. Ich habe mich entschieden, hier zu bleiben, weil es der beste Preis für die Hotels in dem Komplex zu diesem Zeitpunkt war. Auch wegen meiner vorherigen Erfahrung dort mit dem Hotel sehr sauber. Ehrlich gesagt, wenn ich nach Chicago zurückkomme, werde ich wahrscheinlich irgendwo anders bleiben, wenn sie eine bessere Rate haben. Ich glaube, dass es wichtig ist, wie Sie behandelt werden, und ich habe gerade das nicht gefühlt diese Zeit.
