Golden Eagle Inn

We were on our way from NJ to visit our daughter in Columbus Ohio and needed a convenient mid-way stop off Interstate 76. We definitely found it at the Golden Eagle! It is very conveniently located about 5 minutes from the highway in the center of the pleasant town of Bedford. Our room was pretty and period authentic (It is an old but well maintained building). We ate dinner at the lower level pub. T he atmosphere was fun and the food was excellent. Breakfast in the main dining room was plentiful and delicious too. Overall, a great stay!

This was my 4th time at the Inn. It never disappoints. Friendly staff, great food, perfect location, and on-sitr parking make it a perfect weekend getaway. Check in takes moments and check out is even easier. Great shops all in walking distance. Breakfast should not be missed.

We enjoyed visiting our hometown and feeling welcome at this lovely Inn. The guest rooms are comfortable and cozy, and the delicious full breakfasts are absolutely delicious. We love being in the historic downtown for walking and shopping. The pub and indoor/outdoor dining are fun, delightful, and always a highlight of our getaway. This was our second visit, and we tried a new room which was comfortable. Must try the pub downstairs, reminded us of Ireland: warm, friendly and Guiness on draft. Gem is full breakfast w local sausage and bacon. They accommodated our change in plans without a penalty.

This was our second stay at Golden Eagle Inn as we love the large comfortable rooms, hospitality of the innkeepers and staff, delicious breakfast and historic building. The basement Pub is a highlight with original stone walls and fantastic drinks. We enjoyed dinner in the main dining room with fireplace. Great location for all the terrific local shops in town and free off street parking.

Perfect place for a winter weekend get away! The Golden Eagle is my favorite bed-n-breakfast establishment in the eastern United States. Bedford is a quaint, quiet small town in Eastern PA. The Inn is very cozy and the owners/staff are most gracious and go beyond the call of duty to create a warm, welcoming visit. Their home cooked breakfasts are fresh and beyond delicious. The Pub is very charming and has well stocked bar with seasonal drinks, wines , and ice cold beer to suit one and all! It is located in middle of Main Street and within walking distance to all downtown shops and across street from movie theatre of days gone by! The Inn definitely will take you back to a much simpler time in history-from the architecture of the building itself, to the unique furnishings and decor of each room, THE GOLDEN EAGLE INN is sure to be a favorite. I have been several times and we will certainly visit again very soon !
