We don’t know the area so we got lost on the way, we phoned the hotel for help. We were put on with Dee the manger, he was wonderful, he really put us at ease and helped us find the hotel. He even greeted us once we had made it there. All the staff were so friendly and the room was so clean, definitely a great experience of how a hotel should be.

Toilet was broken and raised the issue with the reception team but they said there’s nothing was nothing they could do so had no toilet for the entirety of our stay

Absolute bargain for a Sunday night. Fantastic large bed with perfectly comfortable mattress and pillows. Scrupulously clean linen and towels and room. Nifty refreshments, and machine in reception for snacks and drinks. Easy to find, convenient location.

I recently stayed at the Travelodge Bedford Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive ensuring that every need was met with a smile. The room was spotless, spacious, and equipped with all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay.

I was actually overly impressed by my visit at Bedford Manton Lane and I don’t tend to bother with reviews usually. We was greeted by Dee (I think that was his name) who was so welcoming and explained everything to us. The room was clean (the cleanest I’ve personally experienced out of all the travelodge’s I’ve been to previously). Very accommodating for us as well as being friendly. Very glad we chose Manton Lane over the other Bedford branch and would defiantly rebook again when needed :) thank you to Dee and the other helpful colleagues!

Unpleasant smell inside the corridors and bedrooms. Not a great experince. No air con with just a useless electric fan. Even though put in the quiet floor our bedrooms were right over the entrance so we had noise and chatter all night from outside.

I booked a two night stay at this hotel on behalf of an elderly friend. I accidentally booked a two night stay when she wanted to stay a third night. Upon arrival at the hotel late on 26 July, my friend discovered all her belongings in black bags. She asked to book an extra night and even though a room was available she would have to go online to make the booking. My friend didn't have a means to go online and asked the female member of staff at the time if she could help make the booking. She said she could not and duly turfed my friend out on to the street at after midnight with nowhere to go. This is a despicable way to treat an 83 year old and my complaint has not been satisfactorily dealt with despite several emails exchanges. I would avoid this hotel at all cost and go somewhere that cares about its customers.

Continuous noise had to close windows on a stifling hot night and we still could it! Furniture covering had holes in it!
