Travelodge Bedford Marston Moretaine

It did the job! The hotel is a bit overpriced for what it has to offer and is located in the gas station parking lot. It’s a good stay if you need to be in the area though and the staff was friendly!

From the first look, it doesn't look that much and yes it's pretty basic. But the staff are friendly and always happy to help. The rooms are basic with comfy beds, the duvets are a little thin as I'm used to thick fluffy duvets but I found the rooms very clean. You got 30 mins of free WiFi a day but there is good mobile signal so you can hot-spot from your mobile if you have a laptop. The location can be difficult if you don't drive as it's next to a dual carriageway and around a mile from any shops. There is a Burger King and Greggs around 20 feet away and a Shell petrol station. I was on the ground floor and you could hear people moving around above you but I was on the rear and the car park behind was very quiet. There was an issue with a drunk male when we was there but staff dealt with it well. It's basic but clean with friendly staff.

Lovely hotel, very staff. The receptionist Charlie was helpful and polite. She got us extra towels straight away and was very happy to help with anything we needed. The cleaning staff were amazing,top up our room everyday when putting up the sign. The manager was helpful and friendly too

Very disappointed, arrived early hours of the morning with suitcases told on first floor with no lift and couldn’t be any further away! Stayed as a couple on a late flight decided to stay over bathroom only had one bath towel and no sanitary bin. No plugs sockets either side of the bed I have sleep apnoea and couldn’t use my Cpap machine. Rooms window open but very cold. Mirror had been broken at some point and badly replaced. Paid for breakfast but didn’t collect due to seeing the poster as to what breakfast actually was ! Dreadfully noisy outside

Amazing staff, the receptionist was very friendly and help me as I’m new to Bedford. Can’t remember her name, young lady with long brown hair, cleaners were very helpful, comfortable rooms, clean facilities and a Greggs and Burger King right next to the hotel. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

6.00 pm, halfway home from Wisbech to London, and due to the flooding on the A421, thought it best to fill up petrol, was lost, frustrated, then saw this Travelodge, decided to see if I could stay rather than risk continuing my journey. Spoke to Danni, she was polite, efficiently calm and VERY, VERY helpful, for which I am truly grateful. Shame I had to get a family room when it was just me but so glad of the refuge. Room was lovely and clean etc. When I left in the morning at 7.30 spoke to Hani and he was also very helpful by showing me how to get onto the M1. Home safe.............

Easy to check in, had a nice clean room and the receptionist was a great help as I’m new to the area, advised of a nearby bar restaurant called the bell like 10 minutes walk! Outside was fairly clean but some rubbish by burger king, which made the place looked tired but I know it’s not the hotel fault.

I know the price was hiked because of a show nearby. But if you want to charge £170 per night for a room please make it clean, and equipped with toiletries and in working order. Light didn’t work, toilet was broken, WiFi was shocking.

Your standard Travelodge but clean, functional and we found the cleaning staff a nice bunch. Helpful and friendly. To be commended. Room size was good but I think we had an “upgrade.” Breakfast across the carpark in the Greggs not the healthiest option but who can resist their sausage rolls??
