Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Bei der Eincheckung entdeckten wir, dass sie kein Bargeld genommen haben; ich buche das Zimmer in der Regel als Kreditkarte und zahle für das Zimmer in bar. Ich wurde gesagt, dass sie kein Bargeld wegen Zimmerschäden akzeptieren. Ich dachte, die Kreditkarte sei gegen Schäden abgesichert und die Leute können für das Zimmer in bar bezahlen, wenn sie wollen. Das Zimmer war groß und hatte einen vollen Kühlschrank, Geschirrspüler und einen heißen Top mit einer Mikrowelle. Es gab ein kleines Wohnzimmer mit einem Sofa, das in ein Bett, einen überbestimmten Stuhl, einen Kaffeetisch und einen Arbeitstisch mit einem Stuhl umgewandelt wurde. Wir hatten ein großes Fernseher im Wohnbereich. Das Schlafzimmer hatte ein Königsbett mit einem großen TV; das Badezimmer war behindert zugänglich und hatte einen Duschebank in ihm installiert. Ich habe meinen eigenen Stuhl mitgebracht. Das Bett war komfortabel und geräumig. Die Gürtel waren abgeschaltet, aber aus irgendeinem Grund hatte es Löcher in ihnen. Sie mussten Reinigungsdienste beantragen; eine Maßnahme, um die Kosten zu halten. Unser Zimmer war schön und sauber, als wir ankamen. Wir setzten das Gepäck außerhalb der Tür für Sammlung. Man konnte Menschen nachts schlafende Türen hören; es war irritierend, aber nicht etwas, worüber ich mich beschweren würde. Unser Zimmer war extrem nahe dem Eingang zum Hotel und das war eine große Bequemlichkeit. Das komplimentäre Frühstück war standard und gut. Wir haben viel in unserem Zimmer gegessen, was schön war. Insgesamt, ein guter Aufenthalt.

Der Service ist sehr gut, andere sind allgemein. Weil der Service sehr gut ist, ist es einen besonderen Kommentar wert. Frühstück ist kostenlos, einfacher, das Frühstück im US-Hotel ist fast tausendmal. Am Abendessen des Hotels wählen Sie das Essen im ersten Stock des Hotels. Ich habe mich nicht mehr bezahlen lassen, ich habe gestern Abend ein Abendessen vorgeschlagen. Die Unterschrift ist noch nicht abgeschlossen. Erinnern Sie die Rezeption daran, nicht zu vergessen. Als Ergebnis wartete er ein paar Minuten, fand er meine Rechnung, er sagte mir, dass diese Liste kostenlos ist. Was den Grund betrifft, warum kostenlos, habe ich nicht klargestellt, dass ich unerwünschte kostenloses Abendessen erhalten habe, es war eine wirkliche Überraschung, besonders zu loben.

I always start a review with the positives. I also don't like to be part of the problem but part of the solution and try to always offer helpful suggestions if I make a valid complaint. That said... The room at the Holiday Inn PIT Airport was PRETTY clean. I saw dark, long hairs on the bathroom floor (my hair is short and blonde,) and in the tub which led me to think the bathroom wasn't clean. However, the toilet and sink were seemingly wiped down and plenty of towels were accessible. The beds are comfy, the rooms are large, and we appreciate the outdoor pool in the warmer months. My husband and I stay here quite often, as many as 4 times a year or more, often with a multi-night stay, and we enjoy using the pool. The location for us is convenient to restaurants, shopping and the airport. Holiday Inn Pittsburgh Airport in general meets our needs. The breakfast is very good. Lots of a variety of hot foods and coffee. The waitstaff is always helpful in bringing out supplies, refilling coffee, hot food, a ”to go” bag if needed, etc. That all said, there is this very heavy set MEAN blonde lady with glasses that makes us cower and cringe each time we enter the hotel. We DON'T want to ask her for anything as she ALWAYS makes us feel like we are BOTHERING her. She seems to work the day shift, from early morning til 3 p.m. or so, as we have noticed and we try to make my requests and ask questions AFTER she is gone for the day. How ridiculous is this?!! Case in point: During one particular stay, I asked for more bars of soap for our room. I prefer bar soap. I shouldn't have to feel ”sheepish” about asking. They are mini and not full-sized bars of soap. We usually stay an average of 3 nights when we come to town and the hubs and i prefer bar soap to the bodywash and need more than one teensy bar for the two of us between the shower and sink for 3 days of usage. Get this one....She told us to use the bodywash in the containers on the shower wall and asked us if we had checked to see if the container of body wash was full!!!?? She seems to like to provoke an ARGUMENT! Then she preceded to tell us how she was instructed to hand out the minimum as in the case of the soap. I was thinking: ” Lady, please just open the drawer behind you and give us the dang soap!!” It's NOT a difficult request. I'm thinking: What happened to the old adage, ”The customer is always right?” The staff certainly should not ARGUE with the customer. A hotel front desk clerk works in the hospitality business and should provide the customer with ”hassle free” service. NOT! We don't ask for much. We don't ask for the room to be serviced with fresh towels, etc. during our usual 2 to 3 night stay. Was asking for mini bars of soap too difficult of a request? Today in our hotel room, I went to wash my hands after leftovers from an early lunch (around 11:00 a.m.,) to find that there was NO WATER. It had obviously been shut off. Why? We called the front desk to find out what happene
