Das Hotelmanagement bat micham Tag vor unserer Anreise, eines der 3 von mir bezahlten Zimmer auf ein anderes Hotel umzubuchen, da es zu Wasserschäden kam und sie uns nicht alle beherbergen konnten. Dem bin ich nachgekommen, um weitere Komplikationen zu vermeiden, doch bei Ankunft im Hotel wurden meine über 80-Jahre alten Freunde in ein „Deluxe“ Zimmer im 3 Stock (über eine enge Wendeltreppe) geführt, welches unserer Erwartung bei weitem nicht gerecht war. Das teure Zimmer war eine enge, gefühlt 8 Quadratmeter kleine, unter der schrägen Decke verschanzte Dachkammer. Zum Bettbereich im oberen Stockwerk führt eine sehr steile Holztreppe, die für ältere Gäste unzumutbar ist, vor allem, wenn man im Dunkeln das Bad aufsuchen muss. Mit „Deluxe“ hat der Komfort, welches das Zimmer bietet, nichts zu tun. Das Bad war aufgrund der geringen Größe auch nicht der Rede wert. Ich verstehe natürlich, dass das alte, schön restaurierte Haus nicht den gleichen Komfort bieten kann wie ein modernes Gebäude – allerdings sollten dann auch die Preise, vor allem für solche Zimmer, angepasst werden. Eine Suite würde woanders auch nicht viel weniger kosten. Auf Anfrage konnte man uns keine andere Option anbieten, worauf meine Freunde das Hotel verließen und ein anderes „Etablissement“ aufsuchten. Alle 3 Zimmer wurden ohne Vorwarnung in voller Gänze von meiner Kreditkarte abgebucht, was zwar voll im Recht der Besitzer ist, aber definitiv nicht meiner Erwartung von Service entspricht. Als ich Unterkünfte in Beaune recherchierte, fiel meine Wahl auf die Abbaye De Maizieres wegen der schönen Zimmer, die auf ihrer Website beworben werden – Fotos von der Kammer, die man uns gab, sucht man vergebens. Besucher sollten sich deswegen unbedingt garantieren lassen, welches Zimmer sie genau bekommen werden, um unangenehme Überraschungen zu vermeiden. Unser Aufenthalt im Burgund begann jedenfalls durch diese Unannehmlichkeiten nicht, wie wir es uns erhofft hatten.

ganz einfach: einfach alles perfekt: freundlicher Empfang, Zimmer (sauber, geräumig, gute Betten, großes Bad), alles für den Hund, von Körbchen, Näpfen bis Leckerchen, Parkservice für das Auto, sehr große Auswahl beim Frühstück - wir kommen wieder!

Hotel is situated on the outskirts of Beaune but in easy walking distance of the town centre with all its attractions and to the train station.It can be difficult getting taxis in Beaune.Typical of this style of hotel our room (superior room) was a bit cramped especially as we were staying 7 nights and there was quite a bit of luggage .Very little hanging space for clothes. The bathroom was reasonably spacious.On our first night there was alot of noise from the patio area outside our room at 2-3 am ,the bar was closed but a group of young men were very noisy.We tried to contact reception but couldn't find the number.We reported this in the morning and it was obvious that others had disturbed sleep.After this first night it was quiet.It might be worth asking for a room that doesn't overlook the pool or patio area. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Provided me with ice to prevent bruising when I fell.The hotel was very clean Breakfast was adequate and there was a good supply of fresh fruit.I think this hotel is ideally suited for short stays or stop overs when travelling through France

We were lost in Beaune with no phone batteries and 3 small children, wandering around at night looking for our hotel. We came into the hotel to ask for help and the receptionist couldn't have been more helpful. She printed two maps for us and a list of directions and was really kind. We found our way no problem after that. We just wanted to say thankyou for looking after a tired and stressed family.

Das Mercure Hotel liegt nahe zur Innenstadt und den Sehenswürdigkeiten von Beaune. Alles sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Hotel hat einen sehr großen Parkplatz mit mehreren Stationen für E Fahrzeuge (Nicht nur Tesla). Hervorzuheben ist auch das Restaurant mit einem überraschend guten Essen und einer großen Weinauswahl. Die Zimmer sind zwar klein aber sauber. Das Personal im Restaurant ist kompetent und sehr freundlich.

I saw the great reviews here and the facility looked nice so I booked this hotel. I just got back from my stay and I am 100% sure that these reviews are fake so I want to warn others. We got to the hotel earlier than check in and our room wasn't ready which is absolutely no problem. We had planned to drop off our stuff and have lunch anyways. We get back at check in time and our room still isn't ready. They have had 3 hours notice at this point that we would be back at 3 after lunch. Then we head to the pool to wait for the room to be ready but I ask them to please let me know as soon as it is ready, as we have somewhere to be. An hour goes by and still nothing. At that point, I go back to check on things. Our room was ready, no one called us, or told us anything at all which was very frustrating. We probably would have been out there all day if I hadn't gone back to check. At this point we had to cancel our other plans because we didn't have enough time to shower and get there with the hour delay so we decide to nap. As soon as we start to nap there is an insanely loud alarm going off. This goes on for 20 minutes and the whole hotel has to evacuate. It ends up being a false alarm. I totally understand that things malfunction sometimes but the bigger issue was the staff. First off, at no point does anyone go around telling people that everything is fine, not to worry, or apologize for the inconvenience. The alarm just suddenly stops at some point. I expressed my frustration to reception between the check in process and the alarm going off but they literally did not care at all and barely gave me a sorry. At this point a normal hotel would have made some sort of commercial gesture - free breakfast, or at least try to pretend that they care at all, anything really. What's worse, I got the sense from their reactions that this alarm thing might be a regular occurrence as one of the staff muttered something that I should be grateful it wasn't at night. The next day we are going to see some wineries. We are leaving the hotel at 10:30 AM and the cleaning ladies are cleaning the room next door to us. We politely say hello and that we are leaving, we would like our room cleaned and that we would be back in the afternoon. We come back at 3:45 PM and the lady is in our room and just starting to clean it. I have no clue what she did from 10:30 AM - 3:45 PM as we were her next room to clean but I suspect she just did nothing. We are tired and just want to get in the room so we tell her it is no problem, she doesn't need to finish. We ask her to just refill the nespresso pods so that we can have coffee for the next morning. She says sure, leaves to go get them and never comes back. Another cleaning lady walks past the room and I ask her as well if we can get a refill. She says sure and that she would go grab some. Of course, she never comes back. Finally, I call the front desk. I express my disappointment again with the level of service and ask for coffee p

Wir haben in diesem Hotel auf der Durchreise nach Südfrankreich übernachtet. Für die Kinder war schon mal das erste Highlight der Swimming-pool, der nach einer langen Autofahrt im Sommer wie gerufen kam. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, sehr freundliches Personal und auch das Abendessen sehr angenehm. Die Lage, recht nah an der Autobahn, war für unsere Zwecke perfekt. In das Stadtinnere von Beaune läuft man etwa 20 Minuten.

Praktisch gelegenes Etappen-Hotel, gleich bei der Autobahnausfahrt. Für günstigen Treibstoff sorgt in der Nähe die Tankstelle von Leclerc. Hotel ist gut im Schuss, Zimmer sind gut isoliert. Personal freundlich, jedoch ist das Check In ohne eigentliche Rezeption nicht besonders praktisch, weder für die Gäste noch das Personal. Zimmer mit normalem Novotel-Standard, WiFi funktioniert ohne Passwort, nur mit Login auf der Seite. Bar hat gute Auswahl an offenen Weinen aus der Region. Es hat noch einige Restaurant in Gehdistanz. Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig und wird regelmässig aufgefüllt.

Das Personal hier ist absolut wunderbar, unglaublich freundlich und macht mich, mein Mann, Baby und Hund sehr willkommen und gut aufpasst. Der Garten war ein wunderbarer Ort für unseren Hund, um einen Dampf zu entlassen (obwohl es nicht geschlossen ist, so dass eine gute Erinnerung nötig sein kann!) und der Pool war ein wunderschönes Gebiet. Angesichts einiger anderer Bewertungen erwartete ich, dass die mehr viel mehr Datum sein würde, aber unsere Junior Suite war sehr geräumig und komfortabel und arbeitete gut für uns. Das Essen im Restaurant ist wunderbar, aber sehr teuer und der Service ist langsam - wir haben den Eindruck, dass je mehr Sie verbrachten (z.B. teuerste Sattelmenü, Weinpaaring usw.) je mehr Aufmerksamkeit Sie von der Wartepersonal gegeben wurden. Ein zwei-Nacht-Wohn mit Frühstück und unser Hund kostet uns 700 €, was sehr teuer scheint - während es ein schöner Ort mit wunderschönem Personal der Wert für Geld nicht ganz zu erhöhen.
