Top-Hotels mit Fitnessstudio in Beatenberg

Wir hatten ja eigentlich schon ein anderes Hotel auf einem Berg in der Zentralschweiz gebucht, um aus Anlass meines runden Geburtstages ein Wochenende zu Zweit zu verbringen. Aus organisatorischen Gründen mussten wir die Buchung stornieren und im letzten Moment etwas Anderes suchen. Allein aufgrund der guten Bewertungen und der Beschreibung auf der Webseite wählten wir das Gloria und buchten das Doppelzimmer deluxe im 3. Stock. Wir fühlten uns vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause. ”Ein Dreisternhotel mit Fünfstern - Service” - hatte ich irgendwo in den Bewertungen gelesen. Und genau so ist es. Auch wenn die Einrichtung teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist (wie es ein anderer Bewerter ausdrückte), ist sie tadellos intakt und mit vielen neuen und modernen Details ergänzt worden. Das Haus hat Charme, genau so, wie es ist. Dazu kommen die ausgesprochen freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter wie auch das Gastgeber-Paar. Das ist Gastfreundschaft von ihrer schönsten Seite! Abends genossen wir die hervorragende Küche mit einer Auswahl genau nach unserem Geschmack, und den sehr guten Service. Den Start in den Tag genossen wir beim vielseitigen und ausgezeichneten Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offen liess: u.a. verschiedene exquisite hausgemachte Konfitüren, aufmerksame und zuvorkommende Bedienung, Blick auf die von der Morgensonne beschienenen Berggipfel, gute Musik und ruhige Atmosphäre... Das Rauchverbot auf der Terrasse und den Balkonen macht Sinn. Dafür ist vor dem Hoteleingang eine schöne und gemütliche Sitzgruppe mit Aschenbecher vorhanden. In fünf Minuten erreicht man zu Fuss die Niederhornbahn und ist in kurzer Zeit auf dem schönen Aussichtsberg.

Ich habe bei meinen Hotelaufenthalten (das waren nicht wenige) noch nie einen Gastgeber kennengelernt, der sich so intensiv um seine Gäste gekümmert hat. Die Aussicht vom Hotel aus auf die Berge und dem Thunersee ist einmalig. Nützt man das Angebot ein Fondue in einem der 3 Hotpots zu geniessen kombiniert mit dieser Aussicht, so erlebt man etwas Aussergewöhnliches. Leider fehlte uns die Zeit dafür. Ein Aufenthalt in diesem geschichtsträchtigen Hotel lohnt sich jederzeit.
